I have Avenging Spirit and Shantae for GB (limmited run editions) and I cannot dump them correctly 😮💨

Sadly this won’t work for every cart. One that immediately comes to mind is the Strictly Limited SNES turrican cart. It uses a menu ROM which then redirects the hardware to the game rom. The retrode isn’t able to pull the entire game rom data because of this.

Yep, I have the same cart and the retrode2, and I have exact same problem
