How to Balance a Crankshaft Pt. 1: Alex's 70 Duster Build Ep. 13

We get the crankshaft for alex's 440 prepared for balancing and take you step-by step through the process. First we get the balancing machine prepared, then we get the bob-weights ready. These serve as the equivalent weight of the piston-rod assembly on the crank. Since we already balanced all rods and pistons in the last videos, we have a matching known weight to set each bob weight. It is a little trial and error getting the machine going, then a lot of balancing, drilling, rinse and repeat. Stay tuned for the next episode where we finish the job!!

Protocol in westernised countries would be "Alex and I" because out of courtesy and respect you put everyone else in the group of people you are introducing before you. Using "Me and Alex" implies you are more important and in charge of Alex,. This speech structure seems to be more prevalent amongst Americans.

Wouldn’t be correct tho, you remove alex then it’s me saying “happy Saturday from I” and that is wrong. I have to use me as the pronoun. Now I could have said “happy Saturday from alex and me” to appease your idea of courtesy. I’d argue that is your impression and does not imply I am more important, it’s just the meaning you’re placing on in it. If you watch any of our videos you know that Alex always comes first 💪🏼

@@FanelliRestorations that is a different scenario.. I was explaining how to introduce yourself and another person .. if it is just you by yourself then the term "me" is correct. BTW I do enjoy your videos.. insanely jealous of your ability to get these cars .. I am from Australia and we never had the population in the 60's and 70's to warrant importing large numbers of these cars hence there are very few and what there is is very expensive.
