This is a wealth of information for fellow small business owners...{especially those of us who fully understand not wanting to invest our small earnings on every, little extra thing (like the barcode holders, for example)}. I'm not sure if your stock is positioned on the shelves in a particular order (ie most popular closest to your work-desk), but when it comes to printing the barcode labels and then replacing these on the shelves, have you thought of these two options: 1) print the labels in the same order as your stock is positioned on the shelves (ie left to right, top shelf, the 2nd shelf, followed by 3rd shelf etc) or 2) if you can't change the printing order for labels - then change the stock on the shelf to match how the labels are produced. (Large blue, large pink, large black, large green - Medium blue, medium pink, medium black, medium green, Small blue, small pink etc). This simple change will make label updates much quicker and more efficient, especially as your business grows.

I have a clothing store that travels to various pop up events at different locations. Barcode thing is cool, but I don’t know if that’s my jam to start. Maybe if I blow up big or something, but not something I need at the moment. Super cool though that you explained all this for people who might genuinely love to jump right into this. This was super helpful! But how do I make it so that each one I print out is a different barcode? For example, if I have 150 units and my barcode is labeled "RC0001". All of them print out as RC0001instead of RC0001, RC0002, RC0003 Thanks!
