I am learning the barspin on a trampoline (bike without tires and pedals) and I feel I have improved a lot, plus it is a lot of fun to use a bike on a trampoline :D Loving these indoor park videos!

how do you get your front foot heel to bend down like that? my front foot is always flat on the pedal and almost makes me pedal backwards when i finally land it.

Zak Steele hey man i haven't solved the issue yet. But it doesn't seem to really affect me that much because i can fakie barspin and halfcab barspin now so i've just ignored it. But when i do barspins i focus on keeping as much weight on my front foot as possible and sometimes that helps me not do that back pedal. Someone also told me to point my front foot heel inwards towards the crank but that just feels weird. but keep practicing them im sure it will eventually solve itself.

When you clamp your knees properly your feet should angle enough so you don't touch the wheel! But maybe you need a new bike!

no no You need to buy a dirt jump bike/bmx bike with only rear brake, so you can’t do it with front brake

Mr no no. its IS possible to do bar spins with the front brake, either with a long cable or if you can find it, there used to be hollow stem bolts for quil stems. Given how new bike stem work it should be even easier to simply thread your front cable down through your forks to avoid tangling up. Its what I had on my old BMX. I only ran a front brake and no gyro, short cable and could do barspins no issue due to the hollow stem bolt. isn't it funny how folk either don't know the old tricks or pretend they know...
