I'd really like to know how you make the little growl sounds at :50-:51, :56, 1:08 and 1:30, these are not the ones you're covering in this tutorial as bass growls, but a softer kind of growl. After watching this video and listening to things as you were playing around I have a feeling you did it with Harmor and the phasor, which I don't have cause I'm on mac, but I would really like to know a bit about generally how you create that kind of soft growl, that sounds more like a fart then a saw. And I mean that in a good way

That's where you are wrong sir. You can actually purchase harmor for mac on the image-line website.
@Dewdman4210 жыл бұрын
Sage Lane Uhmm, maybe you better check the website yourself. The mac Version is not released yet and not available on the Image-Line website yet.

Oh hey, just thought of this, Seamless. When you make the two different bass sounds, you can just make them in the A and B parts of Harmor, turn the speed of the Phaser to 0, and then modulate the phaser offsets with 180-degree phased LFOs. Granted, you would only have one FX section to work with, but I'm guessing that would just help to glue the sounds together more. Thanks for the awesome videos!

So dope. I really like this synced phaser modulation. Looks like im gonna try to make some Dnb for once. :)

Regarding my previous comment, the phased LFOs would only be useful of you wanted the sounds to alternate "leading". Geesh, I wish I could get fraps to work with FL.

For some reason when I put the patcher patch into FL it comes up in the mixer as an effect and just creates a Sampler channel in the rack. Anyone know how I can fix this?

you should seriously try this stuff on drum samples since harmor is an additive synthesizer.......hmmm ( ideas)

@SeamlessR8 жыл бұрын
Originally it was a remix, but then the plan that made that possible fell through (by my choice). I didn't like the track so much on its own and by the time I'd come back around to it I was working on things I liked better. Happens to stuff all the time :)

Seamless, you should start your own youtube music channel, not like this channel obviously.. One that's like Monstercat where you can share other electronic musicians and friends music that you like, not a record label.. but more of a way to get those smaller musicians who are truly awesome out there! :D just an idea! btw, check out my friend Stratinus.. He's way too fucking amazing for as small as he is right now!
@7474rap11 жыл бұрын
he can not do it because there is something that i'm sure that kill the noise use massive with modulation of pitch and frequency and filtre with lfo and macro so if SEAMLESS remake it will be great but it's imposibble because he do the process fx called frequency shift modulator and this plugin is for ableton , so it's hard but if i made it will do a tutorial , because until now iremake 50 % of ghost in machine remix kill the noise
