Just a lil tip since it wasn't mentioned: In FL hovering a note and Shift+scroll will nudge the note forward or back. This makes it super easy to nudge them quickly and with high precision. Edit: On second watch I just noticed he called the pattern with the strummed guitar "my purple guitar" which I thought was a funny easter egg.

These lessons are great, breaking down into the most basic, allowing user to feel they are advancing and not an overload of information. Music is art and art is about experimenting, finding your own style, so these videos really help to bring out people individual styles and twists. I've only ever done music as a hobby, teaching myself how to use ableton and such, things in your videos have really reflected on some of my works that sounded OK, but could have used these techniques.
