Hand fabricating the granite vanity top. We had the tools, so why pay someone else? Do it the poor mans way. Sorry its not very imformative. I had to chop 3 minutes off the vid in order to process it thru my computer.

The top turned out really nice - excellent job. Fortunately, I'm installing a new vanity with a granite top already fabricated, so I'm glad I don't have to do this. That looks like some serious custom work.

I do granite for a living install/fabrication...and ive been in business for very long.....yes this is the poor way to do it but if you gotta save money this is how you do it...only thing i didnt like was the rough sharp spots under the granite sink cutout....

The smoke is caused by using too much hardener. The holes are too close to the sink for the faucet retaining rings which is why I believe this guy hates plumbing in his next video. Good solution for the large bowl is to order the standard bowl in the first place or pull the cab forward 3/8ths of an inch, plus you can belt sant the back of the rail if necessary to maintain strength. Also they make epoxy clips to mount the sinks, but it's the silicone which really holds the sink to the top. Notbad

Nice job right there!! I would've been afraid to cut that stuff!! It's pretty expensive!! I kinda like that gap you let at the sink edge!! Pretty Cool!! OK, now you get to wash your hands!!! LOL!! 5&s!

Use white out correction marker. No more tape :). To mount the sink, install top, then put silicone around the brim of the sink. Then lay a 2\4 across the sink hole then take a bar clamp and run it through the drain, pick the sink up into place tighten clamp up to the board the get u two 1"1/4 boards about 8" long and get on your back and screw them into the sides of the cabinets under the sink , one on each side. Done takes 5 mins tops. Try it

Very nice cutting and polishing work! What is the name of the 'hardener' glue? Did not catch that. Why is it hot? The only problem with the wide rim, is the bacteria which will grow underneath like the toilet bowl rims. But I did not think of the splash back protection, smart! Why not invest in a $315 Makita Wet Grinder with hose attachment? Looks like it would be useful for your work and free up the guy holding the water bottle or risk of electrocution.
