If you play as fungus you can also either choose to cooperate with the plant and for example get frre water while you put defenses around plant etc or you can choose to attack the plant and steal the energy

tip: if you see a pipe looking thing, that is a poison dispenser, if you put a poison input facing the poison dispenser's end, you get poison. also dont try to kill the plant unless the plant tries to kill you.
