So the reason why they are so many people there is because there are three people from each class (one captain and two vice-captains). There are 4 classes, each got three people. 3 x 4 is 12 and there are 13 when we count Sugishita. And that's just the first year. The second year also have 12 people. While the third year representatives are the Four Kings and their two adversaries with Umemiya as the leader. So, 13 people. It's 13 + 12 + 13 = 38. There are that many people on the roof.

@@Paidwaytyy that's the thing...I don't give a fuck about the fights either. Like sure the animation is good and the fights are well choreographed but so far all the conflict has been corny as hell. The characters just aren't that interesting to me and most of the dialogue is cringe.

@@missplainjane3905 here lies the issue...I did try to care. I came into this show with low expectations, but was surprised by the quality of episode one, both in terms of animation and the character writing for Sakura early doors. Since then though it's just been a gradual decline for me. The Shishotoren arc failed to make me care for any of the Shishotoren guys and as the cast for the Furin guys got expanded I found myself not caring too much about them either, including Sakura because the writing and dialogue is just whatever to me. I'll watch the last episode next week but I doubt I'll be picking up season 2 if that ever comes around.
