Just wanted to mention this, but I've tried fighting Phase 2 BQ with two Scalemails before (got two of em via scaled flooring & deconstruction staff), and it works pretty well imo. BQ's minions wont be attacking you as much since they'll be on fire, giving you some more time to tank & deal with BQ. Felt like mentioning it, especially after you fought DF before BQ, like i had. Great video as always!

I wanna see an S Tier Wanda run in the future. For a character so notoriously powerful in the right hands, I want to see how fast a player like you could carve through bosses without having to worry about things like weapon durability, or in some cases like Dragonfly with Backstep Watch, armor at all. Theoretically speaking the fact that only Ageless Watches can heal Wanda also eliminates the need for crock pots and birdcages. Potentially could route entirely around shrooms and cacti for sanity and cooked monster meat +ageless watch abuse for hunger the entire run She also has access to a potentially entirely panfluteless Bee Queen fight but I'm not sure if the additional time and effort into precisely kiting BQ is necessarily faster than just gathering the flutes

If/when wigfrid gets a skill tree a lullaby of sorts would be nice (costing 2 panflutes [[insert number of papyrus]] and a feather pencil. It would be an unlimited panflute but be treated as a one affect song

you can put a fence maze around bee queen and the grumble bees will have to fly around if theres a gap. then you open a gate and walk to the other side of the maze faster and they have to do that whole thing again. using up a panflute and a half really does seem resource draining

I wonder if the update that gives her a skill tree will nerf her base form as well. I can imagine her damage reduction and increase being removed with the ability to gain them back by spending skill points as well as the possibility of her unique spear and helmet getting locked behind skills like Woodie's three unique recipes.

@@CH47Flyingtwinkie Yes, that's true, perks that undo the nerfs wouldn't be used for any new improvements. The four currently implemented skill trees didn't nerf the characters they upgraded. The thing is, Wigfrid is frequently recommended against because she's considered too strong of a character, which was not the case in the characters who got skill trees. Speaking of characters recommended against, I hope that Wes's skill tree will come with buffs to his base form (some basic things like average health, hunger & sanity stats, removing his damage and task efficiency penalties and making him pantomime or give some non-speaking warning about approaching hostiles and other dangers).

This is great thank you Lardee! My partner plays Wigfrid so this was very useful. I'm just wondering in general what a late-game Wigfrid should look like armor / weapon wise. I play Wanda and I do like to get bone armor and enlightened crown within the first year and to me that is late-game Wanda and I'm more than satisfied at that point (or even with just 1 bone armor tbh). I think getting Wigfrids top 3-4 songs, an abundance of gold and an abundance of jellybeans is what I would push a non-kiting Wigfrid in the mid game to try to acquire but beyond that I'm not sure.

I'm not sure if you should use a thulecite club as Wigfrid, I believe it has a lower dps than a dark sword if you take her extra damage into consideration. Shadow tentacles' damage is static.

When you ride your beefalo, you can make it jump onto the boat, then dismount it while still on the boat.

@@user-gv9ni3de1wAs an experienced Willow main i would say that Bernie is really helpfull at dealing and tanking damage if you actually use him. All it takes is some green caps(to let Bernie become Freddie Fazbear) and some sanity food(for nightmare creatures not to spawn). When he is fighting he won't respawn even if Willow is not insane(but if Willow is more than 40% sane he will despawn instantly,probably,i think so)

0:05 "turning you on" for combat? 😳 1:50 I find it easiest in early game where i just walk around, often in darkness flashing torches, and eating cooked monster meat from spider drive by spearings. I end up with decent chunk of nfuel for early game, and often a shadow chester on day 11 4:09 it is totally just a very early game weapon, especially in a boss rush style of play like this. But it's worth noting that it's very convenient for casual use as it's made of cheap readily available materials, deals above the 50dmg threshold, and has 200 uses, so you don't have to deal with the finicky nature of ham bats or dark swords. You still probably want something else if you want to do boss fights quick

in 15:13 you say that her passive lifesteal is able to heal you if you kite well and that is simply not true. due to the formula you mentioned erlier she lifesteals laughable amounts off bosses. She gains around 0.04 hp per hit on dragonfly(without song ofc) and that's 15 hp for WHOLE fight if u use fresh hambat. so you would heal max 2 hits from dragon fly. I mean you need to kite perfectly. btw this formula is omega stupid.

heartrending ballad adds a flat .5 hp per hit to Wigfrid. this allows her to heal off any damage dragonfly gets in.
