@Snowblaze_ certainly. in his message he includes a four point acronym: ABCD. And in this is a commitment to follow after Christ and turn from all sin. That is absolutely working for your salvation. John 3:16 plainly teaches just the B, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. Commitment to follow, obey, serve, etc, are part of the Christian life AFTER salvation, and are all WORKS that we are called to after salvation, not conditions FOR salvation. This message is a perversion of the gospel.

I may have missed it, but I didn't hear anything about the repentance of our sins. One of the most important factors after we commit our lives to Jesus Christ. Also, Jesus Christ clearly told us what we need to do to get to heaven. "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself." - Matthew 22:37 I'm striving to be this man more often. It's not easy in this corrupt world.

There are 2 hopes Christians have. Both require having faith in Jesus Christ : - An earthly hope = This is the hope of resurrection and to fulfill the purpose that God had ( and still has ) to have perfect human beings living forever on earth. - A Heavenly hope = You are called up specially for this hope. It's by invitation ONLY. You can't just "feel" yourself into Heaven. God's Holy Spirit gives you a confirmation with your spirit that you are being sealed for it. You'll receive your final sealing and be raptured just before Armageddon.

Christ made it very clear while on this earth, he called Death asleep, therefore we do not go directly to Heaven or Hell upon death, or anywhere else consciously, but wait in the ground for the resurrection and judgment which only Christ will do.
