The best improvement to mini seasons would be a skip game button. I hate loading into games just to quit so that I can move the season along.

My goal in ranked is to just have a W/L record that looks solid IRL baseball. Win 2 out of 3 games, slowly get 10/15/20 games over .500 The hard part with ranked it can be easier for the batter to figure out your sequence since youll use your starter anywhere from 5 to 7 innings versus 1 or 2 in events. But at the same its satisfying by like the 3rd inning to get a feel what pitches your opponent will throw and take advantage.

im a big DD guy but at night when i’m not feeling comp i play franchise & imperfect umpires are really cool, in DD i think they call a lot of strikes balls so pitching isn’t OP. technically if it touches the black at all it’s a strike

I'm with you about eliminating cut scenes in mini seasons. That above all else stops me from wanting to grind out the 30+ games it takes to finish.

For next week, how are you planning to prep for season 2? I feel like if you hold onto S1 cards too long their prices will tank when S2 rolls around and all those cards "expire." Yes there are wildcards but people will use those on 99s, meaning every non-boss released so far will be useless.

I think a fix to pinpoint pitching is in dire need, as well as the other two things you mentioned. I HATE playing BR already, but now I'm even less incentivized because I have absolutely no idea how well a pitcher will perform just because I don't know if their motion is going to be easy or not on pinpoint.

Ive been playing for a little over 3 weeks now and im new to DD and the Show. I use meter pitching cause i feel more comfortable with it and havent really practiced much with pinpoint. Is pinpoint really that much better than meter? It seems for both that unless your 100% accurate everytime then youll have balls that go away from where you want to throw the ball. Sometimes it works out but pinpoint just seems like such a pain in the backside. I also have never once thrown out a base stealer. I play vs the CPU mainly so far and on the lower levels like rookie and veteran and everytime my catcher is way late with the throw or the reaction time i guess. If its based on reaction time then so many catchers arent able to throw out stealers. I havent played online yet and as a Madden MUT player i know how online play can be so im just getting used to the game and patiently doung Babe Ruths set. I love DD so far and its not perfect but alot of fun especially mini seasons even though i lost to the whales my 2 times in the championship series.

First i wanna say great vid as usual !! ... we need more slots for team builds i think 4 isnt enough anymore especially with captain boost and so many different captains now if SDS wants us to team build just think it would be easier for us if we had more than 4 slots maybe 6 or 8

@@saucyca1821Alfonso Soriano, rich aurillia are the ones that come to mind immediately. Mauer, Braun, and Cameron are kinda free if you complete the BR/Ranked programs

@@saucyca1821 i would say yes in-fact a good amount of guys from the team affinity 1 benefit. Also Guys like rollins and braun and napoli benefit. Mike cameron also gets a nice boost. They get a massive power and contact boost and clutch boost. Things we need in higher difficulty.

@@migsplays28 yeah I’m looking and a lot of old headliners that are cheap now benefit too. if chippers stock power vs righty was swapped with his power vs lefty he would be chefs kiss on that team

Foul balls absolutely kill me in ranked. It keeps my opponents that swing at bad pitches in the AB every time. Which then usually leads to a fluke or tank

Sometimes you'll run into goons, it happens. Either you'll get blown out or squeak a win with some luck. And then next game you'll run Into a person who will think you're absolute goon.

For improvements/update they also need to do something about the animations for players fielding it's very weird , I understand reaction ratings have something to do with it but someone in their primary positions shouldn't have certain animations

The fouls balls are brutal doesn’t matter what mode you’re in. I’ve had it in mini seasons back to back hitters I was pitching two fouled it off 9 times. Those pitches were thrown al over the place and all different pitches. That needs to be fixed.
