Glad to see mostly positive comments for a change. And to anyone wondering if you can dress this way as an adult: I'm 27, almost 28 and I dress in fairy Kei fashion and other colorful garb whenever I am able to. I have a full time career and I pay bills, have a car, etc. Just because you dress a certain way doesn't mean you're "childish". It's clothing, that happens to be bright and happy, and doesn't invalidate your level of "adulthood". So think twice before thinking this about Manda, or anyone else for that matter. Just be happy to be alive. And be happy to have the things you have and love the things you love. ^_^!

overall coord is very nice but the makeup is waaaay to strong and dark, it clashes with everything else. also another tip to take your outfit to the next level: Invest in a nice frilly blouse and a good petticoat if you don't already have one. Wearing a Tshirt or cutsew under a lolita dress tends to cheapen the look and make it look costumey. The video was really nice, you didn't seem overly fake, trying to alter your voice and all (looking at you, Venus) and the video had a nice flow, although any haircolour excluding neon can be kawaii ^^ You're very likeable and I admire that, most "kawaii" youtubers are either weeaboos or overly fake, but you hit the nail on the head with this video!

Yes, it may seem more appropriate the younger you are. Of course, puberty comes around 12 and that's when it may seem weirder than seeing sweet lolita on an adult. I'm 10 and I'm never questioned about my clothes, so it's better to try and look a little younger. Go for "5-year-old girly girl" look.

This video is so amazing. Please please answer this. My parents don’t accept me wanting to be this way. I’ve been told so many times (especially by my mom) that I just want to be Japanese even though I’m not. They say I have the characteristics of a three-year old and that I’m 100% going to grow out of this phase so I can’t start dressing or styling myself in that way. But the thing is, I have depression and this is one of the only things that make me happy. It gives me confidence when I feel like I have none, it helps me overcome my feelings of grief and dismay, and best of all, I feel cute and full of joy when being Kawaii. I just don’t know what to say or who to ask, but this style really is a part of me even if they don’t think that it is. It’s not a phase I’m going to grow out of because I’ve liked it for so many years (6 years to be exact.). I’m going into high school next year and I wish I could wear cutesy clothes to my school. Could somebody please help me out?

uhh ur makeup doesn't look.....kawaii it looks gothic If u want kawaii makeup just use clear gloss and light eyeshadow But remember you dont have to look kawaii to be better ...just be who u are...

I've always wanted to dress like this &, do my makeup.. I've always been too inscure.. but being in quarantine something in me has changed. I want to come out of this being more myself than ever!! I don't want to be afraid anymore. I don't i want to hide who I am!! I started feeling this way a few weeks ago when my boyfriend said "what if you dyed your hair pink" randomly, probably joking. That night I told him I want to... I'm going to by dying my hair cotton candy pink!! He's actually excited. But then I figured ... I've always wanted to dye my hair pink but I was too afraid! But then I was like you know what ... If I'm gonna do that, I'm going all the way!! I have to do this for myself!! I have to learn to be myself and accept that I won't always be accepted! To everyone saying she's too old for this: CAN WE JUST FORGET ABOUT DUMB NUMBERS THAT DON'T DEFINE US AND JUST DO WHAT MAKES US HAPPY?!?! Most likely the people commenting about age are the type of people who are jealous because they don't have the guts to just be themselves and do what makes them happy because they're trying fit stupid social standards that really shouldn't even exist in this day and age!
