August of last year I became desperate for the Lord when my 29 year old niece had a headache and fell into a coma. That was when I chased His heart like never before. During that time is when for the first time in my life I heard the Holy Spirit. I was very confused, growing up in Baptist Church, I wasn’t taught, and never knew that God speaks to us today. I don’t understand I fell out of previous church that went by your books and your readings , I ended up falling out of church , took me about 5 years and having a child to follow back to God I went to a random retreat and it was based off of Catholic Church , I was always told they worship Mary and a lot of people take it the wrong way yes , but tell me why I was able to speak in tongues ?! Because my previous church I was able to and I’ve been trying to show my bf what the holy spirt was and didn’t feel alone at retreat i asked for signs to god that I was in the right place 🪧 there’s a lot of testimonies of putting on the motherly love to show that same love Mary showed to her son ! I go to Catholic Thursday church it’s similar to this , but what I’m trying to say is the place I go to has a lot of humble people that don’t care about clothes or looking nice by shoes ties we all have the same shirt and I feel accepted previous church I was always trying to look my best but now Accepted , I just want everyone not to judge Catholic Church they don’t have time to judge other church’s
