You can't choose, Finance department will be ur parent department. You can be given one or more department together. Even FD can transfer u from one department to another frequently if its in public interest.

As per instructions of Govt. in the FD, SAS Officer must be delegated power of DDO. But to work as DDO is not the main task of SAS officer. We will publish detailed video regarding this.

Didn't understand ur query. Still few clarifications is as follows :- 1) Service on Probation is not considerable. 2) There is no any method to shortlisting of candidates prescribed on the basis of seniority. 3) Seniority will counted from the date of joining as SAS officer. 4) Pay will be protected.

It is not easy to answer because it depends upon your circumstances and requirements. Yes, if ur post is other than Clerk, Jr. Asst, Sr. Asst, Suptdnt, Auditor, Accountants, Stenographer, Steno, Dto, TO, or Similar nature posts, Then Post Graduation in Economics is qualification along with 3 year regular Govt. Service for SAS Exam.

Depends upon the FD, they may held exams in two weekends. They may also held on Saturday and Sunday. Ordinarily Gap 6 to more months between next attempt.
