Fundamental answer to this question : if you can manage to be your Lord’s favourite , you can become a person’s favourite as well. Being good to others so they reciprocate the action . Being good because Allah is watching , not only actions but even intentions , improve my relationships with people because of my Lord. Only trying to get close to Allah, without getting close to people / being loved by people that’s not the correct way. All family members have love for each other , but our words sometimes make our family members doubt it - when you interact with family you don’t judge according to what’s in the other persons heart ; when love is more , mom tends to use bad words and correct us also at times. When we become parents we realise that the anger is actually love in this case. YOUR TONGUE WILL MAKE YOU LIKEABLE . There’s lots of love in the heart . We hurt people with our tongues . Don’t wound people with your tongue . Be in communication with people in family who hurt with their words . If you are a person who offends people with words then accept it . Keep an eye on your words , be vigilant . Pray for yourself - consistently and sincerely .

What about the fact that people keep on hurting you and you still withhold a lot ( your actions, your tongue, body language,don't even mention that you are doing it for the sake of Allah, make dua for them, ask Allah for help when stuck as to how to deal with them) for the sake of Allah that you are answerable to him and the people who are involved in all sorts of sins are favourite or many. Prophets and this are the prim example. Does that mean Allah hates them and those people as prophets didn't have only few people hating them?
