Hey is anyone here designing book covers? I'm starting out and have no idea what to price it... Is $200 good for a complete KDP design package? I've got 5 good testimonials from authors working for free. Thoughts satori?

I occasionally design book covers. It depends if your designing just the front cover or the spine and back cover as well. Also does the cover have a dust jacket and PLC. It also helps to have an idea of what the client wants on the cover. Do they expect you to illustrate or manipulate an image in Photoshop. If it’s a straightforward paperback with spine and back cover I’d charge around £300 and allow the client to make some changes.
