How to be Vulnerable (feat. Sr. Mary Grace, S.V.)

Today Fr. Mark Mary is joined for a third time by Sr. Mary Grace of the Sisters of Life to discuss the reality of vulnerability. Sr. addresses weakness and fear, recognizing these as part of the human experience. She reminds us that the Father never intends us to face these challenges alone. Instead, we should bring our vulnerability to the Lord and understand our "Core Blessing" as we stand on the secure footing of God's love.

That sounds so hard and I know it must be so difficult :( Remember that Jesus loves you so, so much ❤️ No words we say can truly grasp how much He loves you. He will be with you always even when it seems like no one else is, and even when God seems far. And there are so many amazing people that I’ll pray you’ll be surrounded by too:) and I’ll pray for you to get through this because I know with God, you can and you will 😊 I love these verses! Throw off the dark works, get into the light, find it and do not stray.. *Vulnerability is mighty huge, wide angle. Often, our humanity let's us believe that at some point we think if we trust God as much as we are meant to, He will turn around and be like: "Again? You need me again? Didn't I already help you with this 20,000 times before?" which when reading it here, sounds comical; but what it does is underscore 2 things: Our limited life experience, limited knowledge of God's grace; And our absolute need for it. It can be hard to be vulnerable to God. I usually go to Church and pray daily but since I recently got into some housing issues, I feel it is too hard to keep going to Church and praying for solutions when there are so many people who also need help with housing already. I feel as if the housing problems of Australia will be getting even worse before it gets better and its probably best to just wait it out rather than focus too much on praying for help when things have not hit bottom yet.

yes... i wish.... but they would not... i think.... i was born in catholic family.... i always ask same questions to different priests and nuns... and the answer is always different.......they start with "catholic church teaches __bla bla bla___" but how can same church have different teachings and opinions on same topics.......... i think they are afraid that their answers would conflict with teachings of other priests..... and the follower would doubt them that's why they don't respond on KZbin (you can check other priest's channel too)...... It's a nice thought, but we don't know what they have going on in their ministry and lives. Fr. Mark Mary as a Franciscan probably isn't accessing the internet as much as we do. They are very focused on service to their internal and local community. Fr. Mike is the Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries for his diocese, and that means a lot of one on one time for spiritual direction and other duties on campus and off. He also has to prepare for the Catechism in a Year podcast. It would be wonderful if they could respond here, and many of their videos surely are inspired by questions they have received. I also don't think it is quite the same with Bishop Barron. He undoubtedly has responsibilities of immense gravity, but he is also in more of a directorial role, and his KZbin channel is part of his Word on Fire ministry. That affords him more time to engage online. Fr. Mark Mary and Fr. Mike are doing these things for Ascension in a slightly less integrated way. Different people have different ways they are able to serve various communities as part of their calling and mission.

It's also important to realize that the people who star in the videos do not manage the channel or produce the videos themselves. It's a team of producers and crew that put the videos together and publish them. A media manager is not necessarily going to answer theological questions, and they certainly would not be able to answer your questions as though they are the person in the video.

@@jayantekka6238 Greetings of peace. There is no fear in the light of truth. These people are unique unto themselves so they too have a different take on the questions addressed to them. Also, they might also consider what the person is really trying to find out, where they're at in the journey of faith, what they fully understand and what they struggling to understand. We are all from diverse cultures and backgrounds which is also key to fully living the gospel of Christ. Ask the grace to genuinely seek through the eyes of faith and ask yourself what do you bring forth when you ask these questions. Remember that by asking, we express our desire for God too. May you be led by the Holy Spirit as you ask, seek and knock.
