I think the concept for a game like this is cool. I found myself becoming super frustrated though. For me personally playing through a time loop is awful and I’m not a fan of spending 2 hours playing the same 12 minutes essentially, I just feel rushed, and doing the same thing multiple times is super annoying to me. Story seems good but the gameplay wasn’t for me at all.

I get where you guys are coming from but I think that’s what they were trying to achieve to begin with. Really compliments the voice acting (frustration in their voice after every loop.) Also allows the audience to really experience the same emotion the protagonist is going through…

Or just hide somewhere and kill the cop. He seems to have eyes on the back of his head. For me it was the lack of creativity not the loop. A game like this should have like at least 10 endings and some for fun imo.

It sucked as at least on Xbox you can't speed up the dialogue virtually at all, even though there's "button" to skip lines, but it saves virtually no time at all. Wasted awful lot of time in watching multiple times seen dialogue. That was definitely the worst. Plus those things like watering plant and it grew for next loop for couple times, but it didn't reset. It just broke the immersion of loop. I thought for some time that "flower" style name was related to this odditity for quite a while. Then stuff like flushing that clock in toilet that can be done, but it doesn't change anything. I thought I had to break clock or something to break loop. Also took ages to figure out that you can't push button when watching clock going backwards or you won't get to place you're intended to progress. Stuff like this killed most fun. I also did something in the beginning to make main character feel really distant to spouse and that gave immediate feel that main character has done something wrong. Even got some really bugged "redacted" type dialogue lines. It felt obvious that character should've been distant only at the very end of game to not give out this plot twist. Game had so much potential, but execution was bad on many parts.

Facts. So many people complaining at how difficult it is and tedious. I’m not much of a gamer anymore as I used to be, I find myself playing 30 minutes of it and getting bored. This on the other hand had be occupied for hours and I didn’t mind the repetition as it was a pretty laid back game with the time loop concept that is awesome

SPOILERS AHEAD Ok, So I've been playing and watching stuff about this game, it's pretty interesting, but this actually isn't the REAL ending. The devil is in the details. Check this: When you get to the room confronting the Dad, you can choose to not be with her anymore. As the final credits roll, Two of the watch's outer ring align. As you click Continue, you're apartment is empty, you have no neighboring apartments and the watch is broken. Remember this as Ending 1. The one shown in the video, shows at the very end that those rings become misaligned and the time loop repeats. Remember this as Ending 2. However, there's the Third Ending, the one linked to the Mindfulness achievement. This one almost plays out as the Ending 2, but you need to time it right. Let the Dad talk a bunch, then pick the book to start ending 2, but then click on the Clock ahead of you. As the clock stops at 12 there's a special dialogue, and as the final credits roll, the Third outer ring starts moving and all of them align. There's no more option to Continue. Game Over. Ending 3. What I think is going on is that, on Ending 1, the choice your Character makes the choice not for what he wants, but because he knows the outcome. The Watch aligns and stops working because you've made the right decision for Her, but since you could only know this because of the nature of the Loop, you become a Time anomaly, hence why you're completely alone. On Ending 2 you take the lesson of the book to heart, but you insist that "your present" is supposed to be WITH HER, so you forget your crimes in trying to live with her again in blissful ignorance, but that's the WRONG path. The Watch misaligns and starts counting your Loop again. On Ending 3, learn the true meaning of the book's words: Live the PRESENT. You are out of the Loop and your Character's life continues from THERE, HIS present, which us as the players cannot see.

In a weird game, this is one of the easiest and hardest games to play. Gameplay is simply and easy, but holy hell to figure out certain things in this to progress the story can be really difficult. The worst for me was the connection between the onesie and the nanny name. Never would have thought to give him a onesie when he says he forgot the name.. I kept going to the plant in the bedroom, watering it, seeing it blossom, but then not getting the chance to see if that was the name he'd forgotten.. then i looked at the paintings too and still no use.. would never have guessed it if I didn't watch this video.

I got the true ending without mentioning the thunder or proving the time loop. I tried it with the radio song but that didn't work, so I waited until I found the second piece of evidence, which I never found (the thunder). So yea, you don''t need the thunder and present stuff at all, it's optional.

What an experience this game was. Filled with moments of joyful sadness, genuine frustration and so thought provoking. Honestly I don't think the actors, in my mind, needed to be these high profile actors. But it's cool nonetheless that they are in this video game. Thank you for this video, if it wasn't for this guide I would've given up on the true ending and accepted that you're not supposed to solve the mystery.. That would've been a bleak timeline. I would've missed out on this incredible story. Such small oversights by me that could've been so obvious for someone else could've kept me from feeling all the emotions I have right now. Yeah, his father puts him in a psychology therapy and appears as a police man. He puts the protagonist into a loop, to make him leave the sister. So the whole thing was in his mind. Yes he does. If you turn the light on then off, then hide in the closet (after knocking out the lady), he gets knocked out when he turns it back on. Get out of the closet, loot him, then tie him up. Proceed from there.

Game definitely has bugs. I managed to get two dialogue options where there was only text in big letters like something REDACTED plus game actually crashed couple times . I also apparently did something very differently in the beginning as player character went almost immediately to very distant of her spouse and it kinda gave immediate impression that player himself is to blame everything. Neat game, but it definitely would have needed bit more testing. Not to mention that some selections don't make sense at all or don't have any meaning. Bit of a shame as game could've been very good.

I think I broke my game. I can't show the cop the onsie it just goes to dialogue options: say you're innocent or ask about his daughter. Then he punches me and I restart. Also I did the last loop you showed and it backs out of the game to my Xbox home screen.
