Not enough people are talking about the intro, so I'll do it. I love the quiet start, matching the peaceful Limgrave, and gorgeous Leyndell which are used as establishing shots, and then the zoom out from Rennala, which leads into the beat drop (with multiple camera angles) where we see the myriad glitches used in the run. The variety is just thrown at you all at once, showing the creativity involved. It's all synced up beautifully, and is more powerful than you'd expect. And then finally, we have Margit leaping into the sky, ready to slam his hammer down, while the tarnished stands there, unflinchingly, as the music hits the end and the screen cuts to black, and the music fades out. For real, the part at the end with Margit is legitimately epic

I can only explain the way I enjoyed this video by saying it's the kind of satisfaction I always hope for when watching a "[insert obscure weapon]-only" run or a randomizer run. I always hope for players to go through the game using every aspect of it, discovering new things or having to push the physics/mechanics to their limit to achieve a goal. Usually those videos start out pretty fun but eventually the build is finished, the character becomes overpowered and from there on it's the same old steamroll. This video was interesting from start to finish, with every new problem being met with increasingly ridiculous solutions. A true masterpiece.

ymfah i just wanted to thank you. i discovered your channel in my recommendations about 2 years ago even though at that point id never consumed any soulsborne content, i didnt know ANYTHING about the respective franchises. you are the reason i brought elden ring on release, the reason im currently on NG+4 and are the reason i joined the soulsborne world. ⭐

I loved the part when ymfah said "It's no walking time" and did not walk all over those guys.

The production quality of your videos is insanely good. The editing, the music, everything is just so smooth and polished. Not to mention your skill in the soulsbornekiroring series is on another level entirely. I hope you never stop doing what you're doing!

the music in this video was already incredibly random and somehow still perfectly fitting and well placed but i never would have expected to hear waltzing matilda as background music in one of these kinds of videos and have it work so well so props mate

Congrats on the achievement ymfah! Getting up the tree was completely wild, as was the bridge skip near the end. THAT had me cackling when that happened.

i was just thinking about this yesterday, i was watching your other videos for the 10th time (i like them) and i was like "i wonder if ymfah will do a no walk run, the games way too big for that tho" you go thru all the pain and effort for these videos and i love you for it :)

I periodically come back to this video to watch the fight against Hoarah Loux. The sheer skill on display, dodging every attack is just astounding. Cheesed everything up to this boss and then just styles on him.

I’ve seen ymfah do some crazy shit but climbing that tree without the left stick is definitely up there near the top

The editing on these is great! Really shows how the whole run is done in a clear and efficient way. And even throws in a ton of funny jokes on top of that. Like, ones that actually make me laugh. Being able to do that with just text is really hard to do in my opinion, and it’s done so well here. I also like how he does those sort of “plot twist moments” where he makes it seem like the run is gonna end, but then he shows how he actually went and did something else prior to obtain something that will allow him to get past that challenge, rather than just showing what he did in order. Makes things a lot more interesting/fun. Still not even halfway done but great video man! I’ll definitely check out some other vids after this one

P.S: I thought the part where he edited the bottom text on the renalla fight was super amusing. Didn’t even realize it was edited for a second until it said “And Tell Radagon to send child support” 😂

Ya know, I think Ymfah has single handedly convinced me to try out the Souls games at some point. I’ve always shied away from trying them but Ymfah unhinged nature to break these games down into tiny pieces for their own amusement really makes me want to get my hands on these games now.

By all means play them. After playing all of them, return to these videos and laugh hundred times More knowing how weird shit this guy is doing 😂😂😂 ymfah is a God

hey man, just wanted u to know that you including a powerwolf song in one of your skyrim videos resulted in me being a huge fan of them for years now, and a couple weeks ago they played in the us for the first time and i was at that concert and it was the greatest time of my life. so weirdly i owe it to you for showing me one of my favorite bands

Thank you for always keeping the parts in where you have to pivot and go find another method to continue the challenge. It wouldn't be nearly as much fun to watch if you did everything perfectly first time through and I'm sure capturing even the fails must be time consuming.
