Well, I highly doubt that any of the AI’s in FNAF are learning AI’s. This game, as well as all the others in the series rely heavily on random events which are triggered by random numbers (RNG). This video talks about that quite a bit. And while I suppose that Scott COULD use a learning AI for an animatronic, it wouldn’t be particularly practical. If a character AI could learn, the same night would just become harder every time you died, which wouldn’t be desirable. Also, setting up a learning AI in clickteam fusion (the game engine Scott uses) would not be an easy task. Not all AI’s learn - it depends on the definition you go by. In this series, “AI” simply refers to the underlying settings of the random number generator that is used. A harder AI level simply changes the range of numbers that the random number generator can choose from, which translates into faster/ less predictable events and gameplay changes.

Should we call Ennard an “it” since it is a robot and robots don’t have genders. Plus if you say it’s the spirit that is possessing Ennard, actually it’s a combination of spirits since the spirits of all the SL animatronics are parts of the OG spirits that got killed at the first Freddy’s. And Ennard is an amalgamation of the robots, but it is also an amalgamation of the spirits trying to work together to get to the surface instead of being trapped in the bunker for all eternity.

Strategy: Listen for Ennard's movement. When you enter the room, don't do anything until you hear sounds from Ennard. If you hear sounds twice from a direction, check the camera. (Example: If you hear sounds twice from the left, check cam 1. This applies to the right side and the vent.) If Ennard is in the middle of the vent/hall, put the camera down. If you hear sounds from the same direction one more time, close the door, and check the camera. If Ennard is gone, you are good, you can open the door, but if Ennard is standing at the door, put the camera down, and leave the door closed until you hear Ennard's movement. Then you can open the door.

I think the only ones he likely watched were my Magic Rainbow speedruns and the Minecraft Metabuild of him, lol. He has many videos available. I can articulate each bug, why it seems to be a bug, and a potential fix, but I'm not sure he really has much reason or will to consider them. i.e. the games are doing really well despite Toy Bonnie and Ennard potentially infinite-looping on crucial nights, or you being able to play negative or absurd nights. At least Sister Location has better handling of the night glitches, lol. Progress. Regardless, I'm doing extremely well designing/debugging/restructuring code in health care, so that keeps me occupied in that vein, lol.

For any mobile players out there, I feel your pain. I too am on mobile and I’m having huge difficulties beating this. I’ll explain my strategy so far. Since there is a bug that prevents stereo sound, when ennard makes a noise it will always play at the centre of your headphones, so your gonna have to use a little more power. The only real way to counteract this is to check all three cameras every time he moves be as quick as possible with this. Power consuming I know, but there doesn’t seem to be any other way. For 4am things get very awkward. Normally you would shut your left door if you hear a left noise, check your camera and if he’s not at the door, then you open it. But obviously on iPad we have no stereo, so it would be way to power consuming to shut all three doors and check all three cameras. Instead I’d recommend taking a look at some of the other cameras to get a better understanding of where ennard is, and where he can attack. If he is at for example, the back left camera, he can only dash the left hall or vent, so you’ll have to shut both vent and left door and then check your cameras. Still power consuming, but better than shutting three. Remember that at the end of the day, it’s RNG, if things seem dicey remember anything could happen. There’s still gonna be a run out there when you will win. So keep trying. :)

I literally just had an attempt where Ennard was at my vent door for a long time and it drained approximately 25% of my power. Then later on in the same attempt, it was at my left door for about the same amount of time, draining another 25%. It was impossible to win. This challenge is so unfair.

Yeah, I was just trying it, and I was lucky enough to not have to do anything for the first hour two times, and it was 89-90% when it switched to 1. I also remember it being around 65% when it went to 3, and around 57% when it switched to 4, and that's the farthest I got on this run. If it came down to power conservation, I could beat this because of whatever's going on, but I feel like Ennard keeps killing me in BS ways. Like, several times they teleport straight to the second stage, and the second I see them, they kill me. No reaction time. But I assume that's the standard RNG. :\

my understanding of the story is that all game baby been scooped and ennards always been guiding u and gaining ur trust with his voice mimic of baby. Baby wasn't around since shift 1, at shift two u encounter bellora and Funtime Freddy and u get 'babys' story of the bite of 83 that got her scooped, probably, ennard was telling the story not baby. Shift 3 u "maintaince" Freddy and u are actually setting him up to b scooped. on ur back after Freddy I get that scripted foxy scare and get "kidnapped" by ennard/baby. since shift 4 mentions uve been out for a while so during that time Freddy and foxy were scooped. during shift 4 it shows bellora getting scooped shift 5 u go through foxy room cuz he is gone (from scooping) then u maintence baby (already dead and scooped) and "she"/ennard is giving u code to open her and take the access card to the scooper room then he guided u to the scooping room and scoops u. as u r in the u see ennard in the outside scoop control room and I c all the other r already in here

PC Players: PC players although having the advantage it will take up more attempts then mobile players. When ennard is moving sometimes he moves back and this is sometimes predictable. When ennard moves but it sounds for faint or more far away there is a 70% chance he's moved back depending on rng. Sometimes he will still jump scare you but if you want to win you're going to have to take risks. The easiest way to defeat ennard is if he attacks more from the vent ahead of you. You will only need to check the cams 1 time every 5-8 seconds. If RNG is on your side and he moves back more then attacking you're on the right track. Another lucky play could be if he attacks from the vent more. Adding on for both devices, on 5am you will be on 20-18% That doesn't mean you're going to win. Energy is drained 0.058% faster on 5am. And 5am is only 45 seconds meaning you're going to need to be VERY lucky toward the end. Mobile players: Now I know this is unfair, however, Ennard is 2x more aggressive on mobile for some unknown reason. BUT, RNG (Good Luck) is higher. Same rules apply for mobile players but there are some changes within the night. Sometimes you cannot tell where ennard is moving even with headphones. Ennard is 2x more aggressive. He will be very active during 5am. Power will be drained 1/3 quicker (approximately converted into fractions) Ennard can move twice in one sound however that's rare and only occurs after 4am. Ennard moves more quietly frequently on mobile. Some RNG rates (for both devices) in order to win: 1) Ennard should not attack until half way through 1am. 2) Ennard should attack more from the vent. 3) Ennard should move less quitely. 4) He should not be at the door for too long. 5) He should move back instead of attacking more. 6) Ennard attacks a little less at 5am to conserve your power. 7) Ennard should not attack at 6-4% 8) Only use 16% on every night. I wish there was a shortcut to get to ennards night once you have beaten him, cause I want to replay it but I die more by entering the passcode on baby then anything else. Also you probably all know this by now but the double move isnt a glitch. After 4 he can charge your door instantly from which ever side hes on. Before 4 it is most likely him moving silently twice

If the other animatronics were the same way in UNC as they were in the other games, 50/20 would literally be down to Ennard and Springtrap RNG. And Foxy RNG because all those times you have to go in to the camps to check if Ennard's gone will make you die to Foxy a lot more.

Have you played the mobile version? It seems much easier than the PC version but I just can't complete it, Ennard kills me every time... The sound effects are fucked up, it's impossible to tell where he is 'cause the noises he make aren''t on the left, right and center like in this version, they all come from the middle, and I play on headphones, too. The night is easy, until it turns 4AM and the "close door first" strategy comes into play. This really sucks, because I can't unlock the custom night because of this. And I think there's no option in my Sony Xperia phone to change the sounds. Sorry to bother you, man, I just can't find any tips on the Android version of the Ennard boss fight. No videos on KZbin either.

Yeah well either way, I did finally beat Ennard the other day. I waited 'til 5AM, about a half minute before the night ends and then had just enough power to shut all three doors and waited, it worked and now I'm doing Custom Night on mobile.

And also I found an option on my Sony Xperia phone where the sounds can be divided into stereo on headphones. It doesn't change the audio but on Custom Night it warns with a symbol when Ballora is approaching etc. It would have been impossible to pass the night without that option.

Here is a tip. If you see ennard in your hallway for the next 2 check the cameras. 2nd time being for checking if hes at the door and the 3rd time doing the same thing if you didnt see ennard the 2nd time. Or you can just conserve power by listening for the sounds.

I feel like actually following Ennard will be impossible in the Switch version if you’re playing with Joy-Cons, because of Joy-Con drift inputting false movements. Also I would believe getting to the secret room would be impossible because of the same reason.
