It's better to turn your computer back on around 5 seconds after the power icon for it can be selected again. Waiting too long for the animatronics to leave the vents can be too confusing. It's better to turn the computer back on and activate a motion detector to see if you should go back to patrolling the vents.

The other thing the “vent” option does is keeping your heat at bay for a little. While making minimal noise inside the ventilation everywhere so the animatronics can’t hear most task noises.

Also seen people simply play the audio in one corner constantly, never using the motion sensor, and shining their light in the vent opposite the audio while only looking back to perform the tasks. Worked for me... not sure if works all the time though.

The "Vents" action doesn't make your vents quieter. Instead it activates a secondary ventilation system that itself doesn't make much noise. You can use this to help cooling down the temperature while the main vent is on, or to slow down the heating process while the main vent is off. It doesn't stop the heating completely on its own, but it does slow it down a fair bit.

I actually prefer to put the audio on the left or the right middle, closer to the big box in the center because it lures animatronics EVERYWHERE on that side, even in your vents, and look to the opposite side of the audio lure by default. I don't turn off the computer because then the animatronics are then coming from both sides, with no reason to leave without the audio lure. When the computer is off, they have no reason to stay, but they also don't have a reason to leave, so they could stay there for a long time.

This strategy is great, but I do suggest silent ventilation. Silent ventilation not only slows down the meter of how much the animatronics could hear you, but also make your heat go up much more slower. Although I also find it quite useless, it's really helpful if your in the middle of handling 2 animatronics from the 2 vents.

I was able to complete Night 2 and 3 easily with Molten Freddy and Scraptrap but on Night 4 (Thursday) they suddenly become much more aggressive and come straight to my office and ignore the audio lure. ryanthms I play on mobile and I don’t play with headphones. I’ve beat the game a couple of times and I can beat the game pretty reliably now. What I like to do is when I do a task, I put the audio in the center of one side and look at the vent on the opposite side while I do the task. I make sure the Fan is off as well. Once the task is done, I immediately turn on the motion detected to get a general idea where they are and if I need air, I keep the screen on motion detected since it tells u when some one enters the vent

fun tip: the anamatronics don't notice your vents. The only issue is that your vents tend to cover their crawling, so you can't hear them. I like to use my vents when I'm watching the vents, since I already know where they are. It's never angered them.

I used the silent ventilation strategy, as soon as I started night 5 I immediately turned off my vent, and enabled silent ventilation, then I just did tasks until I hear a noise, I powered everything down and faced that direction, if there are sounds coming from both sides, you should turn to the most recent sound, do this until there are no more noises, than start doing tasks, and etc.

I don't personally think this strategy works. Maybe it did when this video was released, but I'm pretty sure the game was patched since this guide, and the animatronics have a much lower chance to respond to the audio lure now - especially on Saturday. So, in terms of beating Saturday without dying to RNG a million times, the best strat I've found (still not foolproof, but it works more consistently than anything else I've attempted) is to basically ignore the silent ventilation, audio lure, and motion detector. None of them seem to work well on Saturday and only serve to waste time. Basically when I start, I immediately start printing something, turn off ventilation, listen closely, and turn off the computer as soon as the first printing task is complete. Then I just listen and turn to whichever vent has an animatronic in it. If they're in both vents it can get pretty dicey, but just keep turning toward whichever vent you heard a noise in last. If they make noise at literally the same time, then just stay put for a few seconds and respond to the next noise accordingly. You also want to manage your temperature carefully. With the computer off, the temp should mostly stay manageable, but if it starts to creep toward high 80s, turn on the vent for about 5 seconds and then keep listening to vent noises until they finally go away. When it's been quiet for 7-or-so seconds, quickly switch on computer and start next task, then turn off computer as soon as the task is complete and repeat the listening-to-vent process. Usually you have to turn from vent to vent for a few minutes before they'll leave you alone again, so this strategy takes time, but it does work. Tapping your ventilation on for 5-second bursts when needed seems to keep the temperature at bay and prevent animatronics from killing you (as long as you keep watching the noisy vents). I'm not sure if this is true, but it seems to me that if you ever let the temperature reach 100, then it will refuse to stop creeping higher for the rest of the night, no matter what you do. You'll be forced to turn on the vent much more often, which will probably get you killed. I think it's best to prevent the temp from ever exceeding 95 (90 if you can). For tasks, I typically do printing, order supplies, and save maintenance tasks for last. You can do it in whichever order you want. I just like to get printing out of the way first because it's the most likely to get you killed, and if I'm going to die because of the dumb printer, I'd rather it be 2 minutes into the night rather than 20. That's pretty much all there is to it. Like I said, it's not a 100% success rate, but it's pretty consistent if you're listening closely and making sure to quickly respond to noises in the vents.

I tried this strategy on night 2 and I did the task order as Maintenance, Order supplies, Then advertising. I upgraded the printer by 1 since it was the noisiest task and I needed to get it out of the way, but I couldn’t upgrade anything else. Luckily this strategy made the night surprisingly quick, I had 0 risk rating so Molten Freddy was there but was very easy to deal with because of the audio strategy. The night was very fast and simple. I got really stressed a few times but I just booped helpy’s nose and it kinda calmed me down, Lol. The point is this strategy is a lot better then it seems, and I’m happy to have found this. As said by William, That was EASIER then I thought it would be.

fun fact: when molten freddy, afton, or scrap baby (not lefty because of a coding bug) enter the top vent for the first time, there is a chance that they will teleport to the vent beside you (molten freddy goes left, the other two go right. I think lefty was supposed to go left to but because of a coding bug he is labeled as 5 whilst the teleporting code only checks for numbers 1-4) Edit: this only happens near the beginning, for molten freddy if he enters the top middle vent within 10 seconds he teleports to your left. for afton and scrap baby they must get there within 20 seconds to teleport to your right. this can only happen once a night so unless your not paying attention to the vent noises this shouldn't be too bad of an issue if your unlucky enough for it to occur

I've been trying to use this strategy, but the animatronics keeping ninja jumpscaring me. I listen for sound clues that they're in the vents and hear nothing, only to be surprised when Molten Freddy or Scraptrap get me. I heard Scraptrap once, and that was it.

I do advertising first because it actually makes noise, and so because of that it’s easy to die from it. But why do I do this? Because let’s say I did advertising last and died, well then I’d have to do the night all over again. Now if I do it first and I get it out of the way, the rest of the night will be smooth sailing.

I found that if you swip to the vents in quick succession, so your computer doesn't have the screen pop, I don't get any of the ads, I have only been using this for 10 minutes but it appears to work.

What I do is first supplies then advertising and for last maintenance, when an animatronic is near I turn off EVERYTHING even if I'm printing or ordering something and it's loading I turn it off, I wait for the ventilation to go at 90 - 100 and then I turn on everything.

Silent Vent ALWAYS, listen to vents shut down both vent and CPU, the silent vent DOES COOL if both are off, it does slowly heat up but 6 or 7 complete play throughs and only 5 jump scares. I think people are confused silent vent ISNT silencing the main vent, it’s a separate vent and runs when the computer is of, here anything? Shut down everything then back to work. So many ppl miss this.

my strategy: play audio (one of these 3 on the top), do any 1 task, start lighting on the left vent, after task is done i turn of power and ventilation, watch left vent for 4 seconds, then right vent, turn power on and repeat.

Tip for sponor ships look at the vents then when u hear its done (tasks) look back so the sponsor ship won't interrupt the task
