tips for defeating KOS .. sets that deal high combo attacks like future keeper are bad against him .. because he inflicts so much poison viles .. secondly .. try not to hit him at all with a weapon or unarmed damage .. because poison skin perk will inflict poison on you that converts to bites .. only use ranged attacks and shadow damage .. don't step in any poison viles on the ground and also don't let him step in it .. he will heal if he step in it and you will be poisoned if you step in it .. aslo don't ever stay close to his aura because he will inflict stacks on you that damages you and heals him for the the same amount of damage you get .. also don't let him fill his energy by attacking him with statues and pure damage (poison,bleeding,smoke,etc..) just like void warden smoke or triad mist onslaughts which are enough to defeat him because every mist onslaught deals 5% health damage to KOS .. also if you use a legion set against him make sure to put bleeding perks that gives extra damage without increasing his bloom bar .. if you are inflictes any time with active bites just play passive and stay away from him untill they disappear .. if he uses rain .. just step out of it (rain doesn't infect the whole arena, just the ground under it) and after rain finishes don't step into the infected ground if you play with celestial konung save your leopard only to interupt his Intoxication if he uses it .. and wait if you want to use you ice abilities untill you get a good chance because if you rush it you will leave a chance for him to attack you .. if you have lvl 6 just do one heavy attack ot two then use horn and it is enough with him .. always defeat him with horn because it doesn't give him much bloom energy .. if you defeat him with the special ability he will gain a lot of bloom enrgy and will be harder to deal with .. if you play with triad lvl 4 don't attack him with weapon .. just do : herald soul >mist blade >mist onslaught >branches >dynasty soul(poison dmg) >prepare you herald soul for any counter attack if he uses INTOXICATION (use souls to interupt his Intoxication) and repeat again .. Don't step in poison and don't come close to him just attack from a distance .. of corse if you have lvl 6 triad you will defeat him easily .. if you use GIDEON spam snare and don't give him any chances .. if you use anibot don't use your critical form unless you are sure it will defeat him .. because he will inflict a lot of poison on you and if you don't finish him fast enough you will die .. if you use void warden play passive and don't hit him at all and only trap him in smoke with shadow abilities not physical attacks .. if you use widow or PSS they need to be lvl 6 otherwise it is not possible .. divine judge lvl 6 can defeat him but you need to be lucky and trap him infinitely DOTE and MNEMOS might have a chance but be so patient .. STEEL HOUND can defeat him easily but I will give tips for people who still have him at lvl 4 .. firstly you need good perks specially price of victroy perk and you need jaw breaker special move .. don't start the round with a horn or bash .. just wait for KOS first action then throw him and use your special move or shield bash to get him to corner .. once he gets ther trap him with this combo : jaw breaker >lower leg >horn if available >jaw breaker >lower leg >jaw breaker .. untill you fill your fire energy .. the when Pursuit activated immediately use fire vortex while he is in corner then use lower leg and perform the same trick STEEL HOUND lvl 6 can defeat him without a strugglr which proves that he is the best in the game

A little tip for DFT 6 After hitting the critical. Use mist blade and 3 mist wave. Then use branches. By that time you will have another 3 mist wave charge ready. Use that to finish him off. From second round, use a herald soul after stabbing so he doesn't get up or if you are getting intoxicated(use it at the very end of that animation)

I guess the PoV perk doesn't work when your health is so low, you can't lose any more. This happens when final pursuit is activated in hound.
