You can use the pillars early on, but otherwise you have to time a side dodge roll which can be challenging. Using your shield a lot will help with this boss

I think this game’s parry system is unlike other souls games, stick with it and it’ll come with time! Honestly this was the most parrying I did against a boss and I’m almost done of the game. It’ll get better! Usually in these games the start is the hardest, best of luck!

This game has a few hard bosses right at the start, I recommend getting comfortable with the parry (leave shell as she’s about to hit you) and it’s smooth sailing after this one

The difficulty for me in this boss is the tiny Arena. The camera keeps glitching out of the walls or i get stuck on the pillars and stuff when evading. Also she got me in her teaball twice and kept stuck spinning glitched out i had to close the application. Not hard boss. Just annoying AF

To be honest... i didnt parry once xD parrying is the BANE of my existence. I cant parey for shit thats why most soulslike games end rather quickly for me. I just stopped lies of Pi and tymesia and never got far in deadcells, salt and sactuary or blasphemous 😂😂

@@Deadlock21 Lies of P has a really difficult parry, this game feels so much better than most games. The best parrying would be Sekiro, Another Crab's Treasure and Stellar Blade in that order I think. Give it a shot! You kinda want to spam the block because it doesn't slow you down much

Playing this on Switch and her stupid grab attack keeps glitching and she just spins with you inside it indefinitely and there's nothing you can do except restart the game and avoid that attack entirely!

@@JasonDunna Yeah, I use remote play from time to time, mostly for RPGs and games where timing isn't that important. Even with decent internet, the lag is pretty noticeable for me personally. It's a nice option though!

me personally like to use the coconut shell and whenever she uses the vomit attack that pushes her away, I use the shell umami attack to close distance

​@@outzymes3636 Every time you kill something, you get microplastics, which are what you use to level up. You can only use them when you are at a checkpoint (can't remember what the checkpoints are called). You find your first checkpoint pretty soon after you enter the water for the first time, and they are scattered around the map after that. They look like rainbow currents until you activate them, where they become big shells. If you are playing on controller, press y to enter the checkpoint and it will give you a menu where you can level up. When you are levelling up, it will list all of your stats and you can choose which ones you want to increase.
