mmh, if you playing golem yes waiting for double is the good strat but I'm playing a cycle deck..

In that case I would still avoid being overly aggressive at the start of the game but you can definitely go in for your hog or whatever your win condition is in single elixir I would just make sure you let the opponent attack first, defend their push then you can counter push off surviving troops to avoid overcommitting and losing the game early
