Not everyone has 10 rare candies lying around for an event like this. Plus you need to bring your OHKO-knowing mon through the Glass Gauntlet for this to even work in the first place.

He showed in a different video that you can defeat the glass gauntlet with smeargle alone (+ you can add some Pokemon to make it easier). So yeah, you have space for digglet (or dugtrio it doesn't matter). You can also buy rare candies in the candy shop from south Obsidia.

Think they may have patched it just comes up as "Hypno was unaffected" but I was luckily and had the remotepc thing so i ended up just using my smeargle and putting him to sleep changing to water type then luxray 1 hit
