Why are you guys hating on DJT? Quan gets destroyed by constant pressure, and he took advantage of it. Quan still has insane damage, mix-ups and the best zoning in the game, but some of you are acting like he's this weak low tier character. lol

Count Blacula it's a tough pill to swallow admittedly. As a scrub/novice you don't like knowing that you have to put your controller down in certain matchups and wait till the beating is over, then pick a new character. I wish everyone could fight everyone fairly but then there would be zero diversity

No, block breaker costing 1 bar would kill characters like johnny cage, kung lao.İmagine kung lao spends 1 meter to keep up the pressure and you gving 1 to get rid of him. it doesnt look fair. No doubt kung lao needs a nerf tho..

I may have misunderstood you but block breaker is used to get pressure off of you by pushing the pressuring opponent out for a distance. This cosy 2 bars to do. A lot of people are saying it should cost only 1 bar.

Yes i know but if it costs 1 bar, for e.g. after kunglao meterburns his hat oppenent can block break to get rid of kung lao freely. They both lost 1 bar so its equal. Against jhonnycage wouldnt be that usefull but still

Mert Güleç everyone can backdash any hat cancel other than 11214 or whats it called, With the recent nerf everyone can armor after it or back dash after it: characters like jax or cassie with their 6-7 frame reversals can even straight punish kung lao for canceling into the hat. The main problem in mkx is game mechanics are universal, No special HP for characters that need them, no special defensive mechanics for character that need them and the only defensive mechanic cost just as much as it would cost u to not eat 35-55% combo. SO its either block break to not eat 10-20% chip or even up to 70% chip when ur in the corner and ur quan chi against dragon fire lui kang or A-list johnny OR combo break to not eat 35-55% damage. Remember both breakers cost ur full stamina meaning u cannot backdash or run But ur opponent can so after a blockbreaker opponent can simply run back at you.

Do not compare USF4 balancing efforts to NRS. NRS is to offensive minded with way too many unready able 50/50s, oh and don't forget the high damage potential. USF4 isn't perfect but it's way better in terms of full spectrum of fighting games. And for the record, I actually like NRS games better so don't act like you know me... Any reasonable gamer would say SF is more balanced than MK without any bias.

I know that professional players play to win, but that's borderline unsporting conduct. It's like using an infinite that's not supposed to be there. Yeah, you can win, but I want to see two guys really put their skills to the test, not see the same combo 37 times while someone struggles to get out of the corner. Like I get that lots of characters could get out of that easily and Quan Chi really just doesn't have the tools, which ALLOW him to get exploited, but it's still pretty shitty. No style, no substance, not fun to watch, just smacksmack, smacksmack, smacksmack.

Carl Anderson I guess I just prefer seeing artful combos I normally wouldn't think of, rather than the same move and combo repeated until victory. It's kind of a different setting though. I mean, these guys don't get paid to be showmen.

Fisticuffs Johnny Cage beats Quan Chi bad because Quan Chi does not have very good armor'd attacks at avoiding it. Other characters do. He should of played his secondary character when he lost the first time but he didn't and he lost again. That's his fault

+QBA eltigre Michelangelo has multiple top 8 major placements with 1 character, therefore he's a high level player. WoundCowboy is one of the best players in the world with only 1 character. And pre patch Summoner had no losing match ups, so there's no need to know another.
