My ways of dealing them 1) Throw weapon at them while their sig is charging or is preaparing for a sig 2) Don't give them a weapon at all 3) Time a sig/light right after their sig 4) Jump and dsig/dlight on them (usually on ssigs) 5) Barely letting them move/dodge

But for people like orion and artemis when the spam they are either too far away that you can't reach them and do light attack in time(like orions lance side sig) or they're movements are too goofy that you can't even predict what direction they are going( like artemis side sig) I'm high gold I know I'm not the best at the game but these are my only problems I usually beat any player that I match up with if they don't use lance or scythe

I think the main thing that I switched when I was in low elo was slowing down and thinking more before attacking. i would spam attacks everywhere before instead of waiting to punish. People are scared of being called passive but hyperaggression isn't the best playstyle tbh

had one person so passive during a ranked it felt like a praying mantic fight. They would hold a platform and camp out till came over to try to get a cheap shot, i just waited them out more and threw stuff to be insistent

*hyperagression isn't the best playstyle when you don't exactly (and I mean exactly) what you're doing, why, how your opponent will react and how you'll follow up. So basically, a hyperaggressive style can be played effectively after you've mastered all the basics. No single playstyle is the best, beyond a certain level, skill and experience prevail. If you mess up strings, combos and dodge reads it doesn't matter how patient you are. You're probably getting punished and strung up quick by a more skillful player. Need more skillz. If they recover in a way you're unfamiliar with or a character whose sigs and stats you don't know or understand, same thing. Need more experience.

I understand that you're confused because you don't have to deal with them anymore, but they are actually all over gold and plat. You won't go more than 3 games without it anywhere below plat 3. Also, this video is assuming all spammers do one sig and don't compensate or have good movement. The simple answer is just try your best to avoid giving them a weapon, use weapon throws, and just leave the match if they have an axe character.

i find it tough to beat people who don't just use the same move, but they'll catch me with a light attack first. Like say they would do slight into nsig on orion and just spam that (i can usually deal with that because slight is easy to punish) but it's stuff like that they do that really gets me. Also when they throw out random attacks for no reason when I'm miles away from them is super annoying.

Sig spammers are a challenge for me, but like instead of blaming the game itself for letting it happen, I try to find a counter to it. For instance I know when to attack or dodge/reposition when my opponent does it or literally combo them or do the same thing to them (second case doesn't make me better at the game and is only last resort). But sometimes my brain is so smooth and slow I still proceed to die to them 😭 cuz I'm a trash hardstuck silver who's forced to play on 200ms ping anyways.

If they gravity cancel a move in the air same thing applies where you got to get away from the area of attack in a direction to punish. It's not easy but it is possible, if it wasn't pros would sig spam but if you watch them they barely use sigs.

@@xbowveteran460 if you play aggressive too much you could be getting punished a lot. If you find yourself throwing out attacks that dont hit try not to do that. Instead try to space your opponent (like try to stay at a certain range away from them) and move forward and dash back to bait an attack. If they fall for this bait you can punish with a combo or sig if their low enough. Another tip for gold players moving on to plat is to work on your movement. Watch how pro players play and move and try to copy/ learn from that.
