So far ive died 3 itmes. Once to 3 bloaders rendering in and exploading last second while driving in an infesing hoard, when i bailed a ferrall hopped on my back, twice while trying to toss bloater gas grenades at a plague heart and the last one bounced off a zombie and exploaded at my feet, and third time attacking a plague heart 4 ferralls coming out of nowhere, one tagged me about to climb a fence and all four feasted on me... all bodies where gone and nowhere to be found walking around as a zombie... life comes at ya quick on lethal.

to you players out there you can execute zeds laying on there backs if you dodge onto them and hit the execute key/button before their ai can trigger the ambush. it has worked for me every time unless their was something in the execution path to break the animation.

Found your channel a few days ago through searching SOD2 tips and I usually give a video 5 or 10 minutes to decide if I'm into it and here I am 6 long videos later, just caught up and looking forward to the next one. I like your style. Nice and chill and careful then BOOM crazy action and mad skills. Learning lots from this series so thanks for that but if I could be cheeky to make a request, if it's not too much of a trouble could you show me a few ways to deal with juggernauts? I've got two patrolling either side of my base safe zone and they are making me nervous but I'm a little scared to go and take them on! I've fought a bunch in standard zone but now I'm in dread and I'm not sure how careful I need to be because they are glowing red this time, I remember pumping loads of bullets into them (in standard) and it not really touching them so took them on hand to hand but it was sketchy! Thanks bro.

I always leave 1 item in the plague heart so that after I'm done killing them all I can scan the map and see all the locations they spawned and keep a mental note for next time

Great videos as always Brian, thank you! Enjoy watching it even if I have played SOD2 vfor vyears and never get tired of it (and don't have the skills you do :D). I feel tho that you kind of send out the signal that the stealthy way is the only way to play the game, and I feel that is not representative for the game. One of the most amazing things with SOD2 is that you can play it "your way", if you want to run in guns blazing een von vlevthval, yvou cavn... if you play it the right way. If you want to go brutal and fast you can just jump into the game and go hunt down the hearts from the second you land in the game... Don't forget to tell the people who are new to the game that the game is what you decide it is, or they will be missing out on a lots of fun (and pain *laughs*). :)

Yeah for sure but new players to lethal would get destroyed if they went in guns blazing. That play style works well once your established on a map with tons of resources or are playing on an easier difficulty but if not early game there’s no way to play smart and succeed going guns blazing. Unless you’re very experienced at the game but at that point they wouldn’t need this guide 🤣. I feel most people who are newer and come from other games have a more run and gun play style and that’s why most people who are new have such a hard time with lethal zone because lethal was built to make that play style harder to pull off. Along with the last few updates also working against that play style such as plague territory the new infestations and sleeping hearts making and curveballs making that even harder to pull off. So yes it’s possible but not for someone new whose goal is to actually win the game. That’s more of a speed run approach and requires you to have a pretty good understanding of the game and all its systems and have a deep understanding of the combat and usually a lot of exploits that you can take advantage of.

Playing on Nightmare my game just runs out of steam after a while. I try to lay low to avoid awakening plague hearts but at some point the infestations outpace my resources to control/eliminate them my base and community gets slaughtered in a siege by a few ferals, and two or three Juggernauts. Game over when that happens

Hey Brian, avid lethal enjoyer here listening to your videos at work (and surprised to see this is still an ongoing series. You should get on that!) Might I suggest you go over the very basic details of hitting a bloater with your car and the simple solution on how to not immediately die from it? That probably claimed 40-60% of my lethal deaths when I first came to it from dread.

I am on my first lethal run and its going okay besides 2 Curveballs kicking my ass cause half the map is covered by explosiv and more agressiv blake Zeds... But i tryed out the Comand ,on the radio, to kill investations. And i was almost positiv that survievers send there can not die. So one of my good fellas went out to kill the investation and i got the message that the mission was a success, but before he was back home in my base, he randomly died? So did he die on the way back or is it actually dangerous for the survievers to go out on missions like killing lvl 2 lvl 3 infestation. i am sad and confused.

You may have answered this question already, sorry if that's the case. If you pick someone from your legacy group of survivors at the start of the save and get them killed are they still available for a different save or are they gone forever.

Couldn't you just call the independence trader in and then buy the weapon, some ammo, and the crafting station? I thought the trader carried them all. Could be wrong. Only really use the bouncing borris from independence dlc

Regarding the boutry broker I totally disagree with you. Some bounty broker missions are really easy to obtain. Eg drive a certain amount of distance to kill certain zombie types which you are doing anyway... Why nit rewarded for it?

Even something as easy has driving costs gas which a lot of people have a hard time getting or hunting zombies requires resources and lots of risk because most of them require expensive methods to kill. It’s not just kill 5 ferals, it’s kill 5 ferals with a heavy weapon or assualt rifle (which most people don’t have a lot of ammo for) so that’s why I say that yes there is a few that you might be able to do but 99% of them have some kind of resource cost tied to the bounty even something as simple as driving a certain distance cost 4 gas cans and all that time your driving your risking flipping your car, hitting a bloater , setting off a screamer and waking up a heart across the map, hitting lots of zombies and needing to use repair kits which are super expensive to most players early on in the game. Or as you put it killing zombies your already killing but my goal is to kill them clean quiet or not at all. To complete my objective as cheap as possible and to avoid a fight if it’s not needed. I rarely ever go out looking for a fight early game. If your playing on a easier difficulty yes you can get away with a lot more but with lethal plus being new to the difficulty bounties are usually not worth the risk just to get a gun the reward just doesn’t add up to what you usually have to spend to get it. There is a fun factor tied to a lot of this stuff but that also won’t win you the game 🤣 which is the goal of what I’m showing people here.

All I was trying to say was pick up bounty broker missions missions.. don't chase them.. forget about them.. Then suddenly you get a reward for doing whatever. I'm going to admit 100% lethal zone's are just not fun for me...and Brian why so much hate for 'snap aim'? If we criterzise snap aim aren't we criterzise the developers? So many spelling mistakes 😂
