The delaying the Acklay TM by lightly picking on the jedi is pretty key tip. I didn't know about that.

Good advice and mirrors a lot of what i am seeing, but a few other tips i have picked up when doing at lower quaility devolopment. 1) the gear 12+ fusion furnace is avaiaible on all geos and gives, speed, armour and lots of health everything you want and if not able to do well without could be a tipping point allowing you a few more mistakes. 2) g13 geo brood alpha does really help if your devoloping geos he should be the first g13 anyway but between his extra stats and his summons extra stats it really helps keeping the geos alive. 3) not so much a new tip but this is all about surving the aoes untill you kill it, which means controlling the jedi as if too many of them die the aklay gets more of an offensive boost and will more likely focus on you

While the guild isn’t quite ready to challenge this territory battle just yet, I’ve been slowly preparing my Geonosians for it with currently, Sun Fac as the weakest at gear level 10 and Geonosian Soldier as the strongest with gear level 12 and halfway to gear level 13.

Honestly seeing this makes me wonder about the new light side battle more and more. I already have a few theories that perhaps we are gonna get padawanakin, master kenobi and a bunch of reworks hopefully. Additionally I think we are gonna have - summons like the B2 rocket trooper, scaling from clone troopers up to a Jedi Arena mission Vs droids and jango to unlock shards for someone. The dooku hangar mission will likely be similar to the dooku and ventress mission only with padawanakin, master kenobi and possibly Yoda. A space battle vs. the malevolence or a droid carrier ship I also feel the squad requirements will be less painful as really we don't have any super difficult to get light side characters, jedi revan would likely be the only hard one tbh.

When you're using Geonosian Soldier's ability that calls an assist, always call Spy if you're attacking the Acklay, but always call Poggle if you're attacking an AOE Jedi, since Soldier will apply tenacity down and then Poggle will have a better chance of landing ability block.

The solider ability that calls an assist doesn't apply tenacity down, his basic attack does.

Not sure if this is public somewhere else but I found a way to see the secret new abilities. At least the description. Look at swgoh and go to your characters, then select one with a skill such as my favorite Boba Fett. His secret special will be “Proton Torpedos” as far as I can tell.

Tip #6: When possible, have Poggle be the one to issue the killing blows because he is a GeoTB "Hero" character and that means he will give a stack of that hexagon shaped locked buff to all Separatists which adds 5% damage per stack (and health/protection regen at 10 stacks, if you can somehow pull that off in this special mission). EDIT: It is called "Separatist Affiliation" until you reach 10 stacks and then it converts to "Separatist Loyalty". However, that conversion is going to be very difficult to pull off with only one hero character on the team, especially if that character is Poggle.

Health equalization is all percentage based so be careful I have a sun fac with 85k health and 120k protection but it means nothing if it is equalized

Having my geonosians geared up actually made it harder. Like, one ability kills the Jedi and I'm forced to target the acklay. I barely made it. All I had was my Brood Alpha, Spy, and Brute left. One AoE and it would've been done.

I can't honestly do this mission - I try to do exactly what is shown here but once Acklay goes into rage he spams Jedi who wipe me because I can either remove his rage or ability block one of them. Too many things happen at the same time - 3 AOE jedi + rage control. My Geos are actually way better than in this vid but I can't get it done. It's 3 times now that I've failed. It's frustrating that I can't practice somewhere.

So, just confirmed this. The Acklay's AOE cannot be evaded. Even with Blind on it. The positive, however, is that Blind doesn't get consumed by the AOE, so its follow-up basic won't hit

Grand Admiral Luke Skywalker well most people don’t have geo geared all the way up before they got re worked and with characters like revan, Malak and Shaak ti you need to drop a bit of cash unless you’re gonna wait a few months to be able to do the Geonosis special mission
