Well I made the same mistake as you, killed big blue head and didn’t get the ability to absorb the blue flame thing. Seems like BS to not be able to get it after the fact since it’s not really explained in any way shape or form that this is what you need to do or have done in order to collect a perk. Kinda makes me not like the game already

You can just retrieve the sould in the shrine if you didnt have the ability... I did the same and then I had the soul in the shrine. This video is total BS

You can retrieve the spirit you missed at the shrine at the bottom of the stairs after talking to the master. So no worries on the missed spirit!

My map doesn’t even look like this. A the beginning of your video, mine looks like that, but then you say “Here was my mistake” and after that nothing looks the same from then on. I don’t even know how to get to the temple. Beginning to hate this game.

I beat the boss, I went waaaaay pass that area and fought like another two and finally i got the guidance to collect souls. Idk why that but i think its part of the game
