If they start with Throne you are basically forced to ash it or else they make phantom and your ash will be dead.

Droll is high Risk high reward. Its pretty random in the Yubel matchup. If They have lurrie/tractus or samsara as starter or any normal onecardcombo into Throne as an extender/early Phantom they can Play around it. Its either good or absolutely useless. The onecard lotus for ex. Plays to the Full endboard under Droll. U Only have 2(+1) searches. U allways set pain and the only search is with pain. And u get sharvara access with milling it into the GY with Sequenz and Areal eater. The endboard is: varudras, Phantom, rage into escape, a second yama in GY. U get the exact Same Endboard on normal samsara/One for one of u get drolled. And that board has still 5 interuptions if u get dark ruler

Something ive experience a lot is that if you don't imperm/veiler the yama, then until they use the sharvara, then your imperm/veiler is offline since they can use it to dodge

Wrong, they can still contact fuse using the banished zone. Literally always have shifter in my side and hit them with it + an evenly matched and they just full combos through three set traps.

If you play escape the 2nd yama is a must also I don't think people should be playing at 40 if you have bricks and cards you want to add mid combo

In Master Duel, I have been trying a Reprodocus + Nemeses Flag and Archnemeses Eschatos. Even before I know my opponent is on Yubel, I make Eschatos a fiend, Call fiends. Yubel literally just cant play at that point

if you call dark with Protos it's literally the same and you don't need Reprodocus for that

Yeah but protos is way more expensive and depending on the deck you yourself might have dark monsters that you need to use that you can no longer use like bystials

​@Murasane bystials literally are the only thing that protos calling dark will prevent on your opponents turn but who cares since they likely won't be getting anything in the grave to banish anyway. Protos is definitely better. It can also call fire and stop fire king SE.

@@Murasane 1. not every deck plays bystials. 2. if I have a choice between stopping my opponents full turn or keeping my bystials live, I'm always choosing Protos.

@@szymonsadlo Protos is not better actually, not for my deck anyway. Firstly, My deck does in fact use bystials. Also, Not all the fiends in Unchained are dark. Iv already tried it a few times and while protos can kill them, They can still build “something” and I dont trust unchained traps and destruction methods to not bring them back from literally one card ya know?

why no ultimate slayer? everyone has a link or fusion on field. n'tss and sunny can remove two monsters. ultimate slayer sends back the monster, while ntss pops, or twin sends to grave. its stops snake eyes boards for links, and removes phantom yubel, while getting a free pop from ntss

Great question! The way I see it is that when apollousa was a common endboard piece, yubel would use Rage as one of the materials. By playing chamber they could revive it on their opponents turn for more interruption. But now many endboards have the Rage on field so there's no need to revive it. Instead, the pop effect from escape is great and rage can then be revived with Yama's effect in a new chain. Hope this answer helps

Nope, desirae negate the first one and varudras the second one and even if you have the third they can keep rage which alone is 3 interruption plus maybe handtraps.
