@@DifferentNerd Just started ranked match today! Currently 10-0 and even had a rage quit on my 3rd match. Mid Base Goku, Recoome, Nappa, and Dr Gero. Only trouble I've had so far is against a base janemba. Still not sure how to counter giants without an ss3 level character who can stun them.

@@justchillin7896 you can perma dash. so dash attack them it stuns them. dash around there back as well.

Dash side step always works for me

You have to time it quickly, it’s harder while you’re charging

Now usually if I charge up, I'll be honorable and let me opponent charge. Unless they got a skill bar and about to go into sparking mode. But some players won't let me charge, so I would usually just leave myself open and wait for the burst dash. Side step it and then punish them!

I always side step or I'll wait for them to dash at me while charging. You just gotta ge prepared for them to dash once you see their ki getting pretty high

Man, I love this kind of little mind battles the combat system of the games creates, its a shame that thr other bad designed mechanics of the game opaque all these kinds of things, removing a lot of the protagonism this interactions should have in the fights

isnt z burst dash harder to counter when in sparking? It hits earlier on the way in. That's how its more commonly used

Quick Ascend and Quick Descend are good to avoid Sparking Dragon Dash.

Orrrrr just wait for for whatever option they choose then super counter? Up+x or saquare just before the attack connects

I use androids. They dont charge ki so im always on the offensive. Defending to it is nice.
