I honestly always use Brick Yellow. To me, it seems realistic, bright but not too bright, and it’s a bit both like yellow and white. It’s like the bulb is white, but it emits a nice low yellow tone

Here’s a tip: basic shapes are your savior, I build victorian and space age modern and basic shapes just help give more definition and cover up your mishaps ;) Also if you’re struggling with floor plans or exterior design just look up some inspiration and lots of time the house comes with a full floor plan layout

As a modern/rustic builder I use white and medium stone grey lights by using all white lights and changing the lights in the areas that are too bright to medium stone grey, it really helps and it keeps the modern ‘aesthetic’ alive

honestly shutters depend on your preference and also the style of your build..plain walls look really good in simple modern homes and aren’t necessary if you are on a low budget..white lighting honestly isn’t that bad as long as you don’t spam it, one white light a room is fine. (if you’re blinded, good)

Another tip with the lighting, don’t use too dark colors either when creating a dark build, such as an evil biome tower or something, used this strategy for ruined builds as well, you have to include lighting to see of course

Here are some more tips as an (ok) builder 1. plan out your builds; I use Pinterest and make a board of what I want the house to look like, everything from the exterior to the tiny details. 2. Build. I have been playing bloxburg for 4 years, my first house was a square with no floor nor a roof with bunk beds and a TV, since then I have improved sooo much! Simply building and trying new techniques and styles will help 3. Watch speed builds; you can watch and see how they do things, if you see something you like then add it to your house, plus you can learn a lot just by watching. Sorry this was a long comment, I hope you learned something tho :)

A tip is don’t use always the same color, some people always use pink and like Yk seashell. It makes your house unrealistic. And don’t be smart and make everything white no. A combination I rlly like is the color seashell, and material plaid, it gives out rlly cute.

this video helped me get ideas for my house like the walls looked plain so i added some cute wall trims and it looked better and whit the floor i already knew that but it could be helpfull for other players the shutters are very nice but when u got a small window it looks weird so i recomend using a bigger window and what i mean whit small window like its thin not the height but like its thin from like left to right and if u add shutters to that it might look weird on some windows but for the other windows it looks adorable

Wall trim is very useful and I use shutters on all of my houses. Also white lighting burns my eyes so usually I go with linen or hurricane gray and usually it turns out great!

Not all windows need a shutter. It depends on what style your going for like modern, or a farmhouse or a real life-house them.
