Hey Folks,
to celebrate 23.233 Instagram followers I decided to share one of my recent Patreon videos with you here!
It´s the first episode talking about the different ways on how to become a better painter by decimating topics or techniques you fear. We will paint the fantastic mercenary goblin from Lucas Pina and dedicate a technique to each of the materials, starting with wet blending
I hope you enjoy it!

Started painting in the late 70's. Very old school. At that time we only had detail brushing, drybrushing and outlining, which became washes. Great to see how the hobby has evolved over the years.

wow, amazing. I have been watching a lot of youtube painters and looking for something with a bit more depth, especially on this exact topic! i was always trying to get wet blends that were opaque and smooth after one blend, which now that ive seen this im realizing was terribly dumb. It now seems so obvious that it takes many, many wet blends to achieve these results. Really considering the patreon now and i am inspired to paint!

Wow, wet blending really is a powerful technique, I have always had it in the back of my head but never really tried it, but now I'm gonna try it out on my next project!

Hey Ben, great video. I think you hit the nail on the head with conquering our fears and realizing that its just paint it can be painted over it and it can be stripped. Im excited where this series goes. Thanks for doing this video. I wetblend a lot and this was so on point. I learned wetblending from Sam and it has been a serious god send for speeding up the process of basing and finding my highlights and getting a nice initial blend to then work on glazing and clean up. I will for sure be sending people to this video in the future!

Great video! Love the way you take the time to show that it can look terrible at the beginning. Don't get discouraged. It's part of the process of creating a MASTERPIECE!! Definitiely going to trywet blending more.

Great timing as the latest Spira was delivered this morning 😁 As for what scares me painting wise... hair. Lots of long, flowing hair. Pedro Fernández style long flowing hair. Good to see a video from you too. Feels like it's been ages.

I'm happy to see your uploading new videos to your YT channel. I am wondering what you think of 3D printed miniatures and have you painted one recently? I think the ability to scale up and increase the size of a miniature prior to slicing it gives the painter a new perspective on 25mm minis.

Awesome video Ben!! You haven't posted in sooooo long! I'd say if there was a painting technique or rather subject that makes me anxious is OSL - buts specifically OSL using a brush.
