Trust in him and ask him to grant you the gift of Perseverance and also pray to Mother Mary that she may pray for you to the Heavenly Father and guide you throughout your life.

Pax et Bonum Hey I'm sorry for late response. Yes you can remain a Friar forever. Franciscans are all brothers but some are called to the ministerial Priesthood. You can remain a brother in the Order if you think God is calling you to that life. You have OFM Franciscans (Observants), OFM Capuchins and OFM Conventuals all are the branches of Order of Friars Minor. I shall pray for your vocation and please do pray for me as I'm walking in the path towards Priesthood.

Pax et Bonum Dear brothers in Jesus Christ if you think you are called towards Priesthood don't delay and join soon. If confused ask Mumma Mary's help and seek guidance from any spiritual father but go to a Priest who will help you choose the Order or congregation you are called rather than promoting you to his own Order/Congregation. In these times you have alot of options including Diocesans and Religious, just see what are you interested in , do you want to be a missionary and which Saint do you like the most and inspired from him. I chose the Franciscans because St Francis inspired me to live life in poverty, humility and spiritually, his love towards Jesus Christ inspired me to follow Christ in the way he walked. If you want I can help you in your Vocation but for now pray alot and I shall pray you all too. Pax et Bonum Sorry dear brother we do not work for stipend but for Jesus Christ who is more valuable than money. He will provide us with food and other essentials. We take the vow of Poverty, and we live in Christ in complete poverty.

Good inspiration fr. But do you really allow a seminarian to become a priest? A priestly candidate is allowed to become a priest based on his caste or what support he has in the order or is he playing the flute for the fathers in the order. These acts play a vital role in ordaining a priest. When you send a candidate out after 7 or 10 years do you really think of his family his future the years he spent in the order , sure it's not practised. You fix a rule and students have to follow like sheep if any one raises voice he would be sent out. Day will come you would not get vocation at all. This congregation has to redesign your policies and come out of caste and other malpractices you people do then you can educate the seminarians.
