Thanks for sharing it was very helpful, I applied to a few companies on Internshala for content writing and they told me to write an article for them of more than 500 words, and when I submitted it they did not even respond, they never mailed me that if I got selected or not. But they published my article on their website, but I couldn't object because on Internshala they posted a disclaimer stating that: The moment you send us your work it will be owned by us and we are free to use it. The idea to post the article on our blog and then share it to them was very nice.

there are multiple tools online that can check plagiarism for free, also medium is really a good start. But you don't really need to spend a dime to create your portfolio. Instead of grammarly, use google docs, the spelling mistakes would automatically be corrected.
