The problem about GTA 5 is that if you try to help the cops like you did in this video you will always get a suspect level. I tried using the director mode and use the police NPC and also disable the wanted level but those small events will not trigger during director mode, which make the LSPD roleplay in GTA 5 almost impossible and unrealistic since you gotta pretend to be a cop and not play actual missions like in the previous titles. The vigilante mode is missing because of old gen hardware limitations but Rockstar completelly abbandoned the storymode because of online so we didn't get this mode on current gen aswell.

@@YOEL_44 actually GTA 5 got lot of limitations due to old gen and this is also why they stopped updating it. The only big update on old gen was the Heist update but the rest was only new cars, clothes and guns. They had to remove so many things that were in GTA 4 because of the huge map GTA 5 has. Just to prove you it wasn't about being lazy: GTA 5 used the GTA 4 engine and they also built GTA 5 using GTA 4 itself (you can see it from official screens released by TezFunz and many other leakers), which mean that they had to nerf everything in order to make the game not too heavy. Rockstar's lazyness is in GTA 5 for current gen, since they could've brought all that features back but they didn't.

GTA 3 or GTA 4 didn't require an extra disk to be installed. Go get informed about the GTA history since you like to act like you know everything about this game. Erm actually in gta 5, there is a feature called director mode, and you can acess actors like LSPD, IAA (if it counts as police), FIB, Highway patrol, Blaine county sheriff, and Park Ranger. If you choose any of those besides highway patrol, turn your wanted level off, turn off restricted areas, and turn on invincibility

God dammit I still remember GTA 3 vigilante mission glitch, all you had to do was get close to the suspect and pause the game. Unpause then the person would exit the vehicle and you could simply run them over. 😂

If i'm not mistaken, in GTA IV you could also help police officers, since you can see alot of police officers chasing a criminal by foots, you can stop the criminal and the cop will come into the car with the criminal, but if i do remember well, after awhile the cop will recognize that you're a civilian driving a police car and you'll get a wanted level.
