Personally I think a Statistics Degree is better than no degree, but for being a Data Architect you need to build up a solid foundation on Data Engineering, and get some scripting skills.

US salaries are absolutely bonkers, man! I work at a large insurance company in the Netherlands, and our freaking CEO gets about 600k! How tf can someone outside of senior management even make that much?
