Under UG degree there are categorised into two:
1) B.Des-- which refers to bachelor of designing
2) B.FTech-- which means bachelor of fashion technology
Under PG degree there are also two categories: that is
1) M.Des
2)M.FTech
which refers to master of design and master of fashion technology respectively.
For UG admission you are required to pass the Entrance Examination.
The Entrance Examination is of four levels namely
1)CAT-- creative ability test
2) General ability test
3) Situation test
4) Group discussion
The important points to be followed for choosing a UG course
For B.Design you need to clear +2 and you should be below 23 Years.
For Bachelor of fashion technology you must took physics chemistry mathematics group compulsory in the class +2
Skills required to to aim for fashion technology as follows
1) creativity
2) visualisation
3)computer skill
4)colour combinations
5)drawing
6)communications
7)presentation
These are the basic and essential need for designer for making a project very effective and very fashionate.

Bro b.des ku group discussion round illa , 1. Gat + cat = 80% 2. Situation test = 20% Totally 100 marks !! For this 100 marks , we have to clear the first round of 80% weighted round . If we cleared it , we r gonna get shortlisted for the second round , that's situation test. Then if we cleared the second round , they will give us a CMR (common merit list) , which will show our rank in all over India , if we r a category students like OBC, SC ,ST , then we heave reserved seats ( for eg. If our common rank is 1000 then if iam OBC category means my category rank may be 700 or 800 it varies approxly. According to this , we will get a campus , if our rank is low means , then we will get centres like Kolkata , Patna , Raebareli, shillong , Srinagar etc..... If our rank is high , then we will get Delhi , Mumbai, banglore , chennai etc...
