Hi!! I live in Limpopo and I'm a single parent and poultry farmer. But I want to be a nurse. Please help me on were I can start with my journey and what could work for me. I'm in a rural area and there isn't really any nursing College here. I recently trained ukuthwasa. And I've realised my passion for working with people but I want to incorporate modern medical practicea.

Ola Kabza i would like to know if what am I supposed to do because I really want to make nursing as my career, it's unfortunate that I didn't do mathematics, physical sciences & life sciences at school, but on the other hand I developed my interest in nursing after I've obtained my qualification which is not related on nursing. This year am about to be 28 years old but I'm thinking about to make whatever it takes to pursue nursing as my favourite career. I don't know if it would be possible.
@natsu______2 жыл бұрын
it's possible, especially if you have a matric certificate, if you've done good in your matric certificate for ENGLISH then we'll done. now moving on to MATHEMATICS- since you've never did pure maths you should consider doing an upgrade, an upgrade is like a repeat of matric but while you're doing your upgrade you can only focus on specific subjects that are required by your career. so if your want to go into nursing you should complete an upgrade which takes about 1 year and you should choose the subjects that you need for nursing, which are pure maths, life science or physical science. I recommend you focus on maths and life science (for nursing) after completing your upgrade which takes a year you can apply to university to study nursing. or you can do a bridging course for nursing (a bridging course is starting from a certificate to a diploma to a degree in nursing) a bridging course is considered for people who achieved bad marks in their final year of study. goodluck you can become a NURSE 👌🏽

Yeah you can but it would be a good idea to take life science as a better chance to be accepted into university because life science covers human anatomy, core base of medicine basically😊

1.Hi, how long does is take a RN to become CRNA?. 2. if your taking a path of starting from auxillary to staff nurse ,then to Registered nurse.How long will it take you?
@rnkabelosadike90733 жыл бұрын
Ndaa VhoNdamulelo...In South Africa, anesthesia is only administered by medical practitioners, which is in line with their scope of practice. The practice has never been in line with South African nursing practice. 2. To become a registered nurse takes 4years of study and 1 year of community services (similar to internship). The legacy qualifications has been discontinued.
