My agent applied for nysed 3 days back... I specifically asked her if I can directly apply for nysed... She advised me to go through cgfns for future perspective... And even though it's a bit lengthy process through cgfns but it's worth it!! And once you clear your nclex and hospital interview you then need to apply for visa screen certificate which again is going to apply through cgfns for your job visa which is why it's better to apply via cgfns instead of directly applying to nysed... And future Mein kabhi bhi state change karte hai toh cgfns required hota hai ❤❤
