Useful stuff! One thing i would like to correct is that the SQE1 consists of 2 SETS of 180 multiple choice questions and NOT 90 questions. The exam is given over two days and it lasts for 2hr and 30/40 min for 180 questions and then the same on the second day.

Actually you can still do the LLM/Lpc and qualify as a solicitor. UK still allows the option of of LPC. Correct me if I’m wrong but that’s what I found out. Thank you.

It has a certain date, if you have registered yourself before that date, only then you can attemp LLM LPC nd other barrier is that universities not offering lpc anymore and it's assessment wise a bit difficult , why would someone chose outdated course with tougher assessment

I haven't seen anyone going into SQE 1 and 2 since September 2021, SRA has different rules and they allow direct entry but universities do not allow someone to join their SQE courses without GDL, Now if you study online and give exams of SRA directly that could be an option because this is how we will skip going to university but you ll skip going to Uk as well and they wont be PSW option even after SQE certification

This confusion is created by SRA since the introduction to SQE 1 and 2, which is yet to be clarified, but my suggestion is that, you can do SQE online as there is no restriction but for tier 4 visa you must start with GDL or LLM

MA law conversion 1st or PGDL, both are one year course and after then Sqe 1 and 2 which is also one year course, it ll take two years and alot of finances

Hey, quick query sir. Is GDL important? After graduation from BALLB (Hons.) and work ex in South Asian countries is it possible to directly apply for LLM Legal Practice SqE1 & SQE 2 ( eg. at UofLaw) or do we have to go through Postgraduate Diploma in Law Route necessarily? From what I read on the website of SRA, I am of opinion that I can take the LLM option and give both the exams. Am I mistaken or is my assumption right?

PGDL is university's requirement not SRA's, if you hold any other visa then you wont need PGDL to do SQE 1 and 2. PGDL is only required when you follow the tier 4 student route.
