While streaming Dead by Daylight right after the release of chapter 32 and the new killer Vecna, the the lich and the new survivor Aestri Yazar, I tried to master Vecna in 7 days. I played 100 games as Vecna and the results were crazy. I found the best Vecna build, I learned Venca tips and tricks. I created Venca guide for new players. With the new killer the lich coming out, you need the best killer build and the best killer perks. I think I found a fun lich build. I believe this could be the best killer build in the game. In this video, I walk through Venca ability and how to play Vecna. Vecna has the mage hand. Mage hand is one of the strongest abilities that helps you pick up pallets. Venca has fly. Fly allows you to close distance on survivors. Vecna has flight of the damned. Flight of the damned shoots out skeletons at survivors. Vecna has dispelling sphere which gives you killer instinct for anyone in the sphere. This video gives you the Lich tips and tricks and is almost a lich guide.

Most people don't realize this but use Flight of the Damned at the bottom of stairs because then even if people crouch they will still get hit.

Use ring of storing and the green Opal add on that takes away 5 seconds of cooldown per m1. Those 2 together give you constant spells

1. You can cast floght of the damned on top of the survivor to immediately hit them. Most won't be able to react in time. 2. (Unless it was patched) You can cancel the animation of all of vecna's spells. Dispelling sphere and flight don't work that well, but mage hand and flight of the damned don't have a casting animation. On console, you can delete the spell casting animation by pressing the ability button once, then hold it and spam the ability launch button. It's a little hard to land, but it can pay off with a hit or a down if done correctly. 3. After pressing the cast ability button, you can change your ability without the animation.

Yall dont seem to realize hands real capacity. Let them yhrow a palette, then when they go to vault. THEN lift it. Cant vault a palette being moved. Or after they vault to not lose distance. But dont do that super often as that gives their loop back, but maybe you can use that against them too

DONT SLEEP ON DISPELLING SPHERE! That is my #1 tip. Always cast it with a minimum of 2 points of interest along its path and use it a lot, even if you don’t plan to follow up on it. I see everyone sleeping on that ability, but it constantly applies pressure cross map. The fact that you COULD follow up after a reveal will always force survivors to adjust and reposition

You can also use flight of the damned while you’re traveling up stairs to spawn them lower, making it impossible to crouch under them.

It's better to hold the pallet from being dropped then it is to pick up pallet because then it can be dropped after a quick loop

No. If you time it right you can pick it up just as it’s dropped and it’s a free hit every time. I already have 100 hours on Vecna already and 9/10 times it’s better to pick it up if the chase is close

That was my first thought when I saw all of vecna s stuff. He doesn’t need perks or add on, I genuinely think a vecna with no perks could beat a good solo Que survivor team. Coms he def would need add one and such but you don’t need as much intel that’s built Into his kit, he can get around the map. He is not a slow killer. He has skulls and mage hand which when master are 100% of the time getting you a hit, if they go to a pallet you can get 100% hit with the skulls and if you use the mage hand right you get a 100% hit either from the surprise or getting free distance. Not to mention basic m1 killer mind games. You can proxy camp really easily with the flight ability. Slugging is easy because your orb tells you where your slug is and can find anyone hiding as well. So many abilities on one killer is honestly not really fair. There’s so little counter play if he combos 3 abilities in chase and you can still use flight to get around and pressure gens. With no Ed or devour hope you basically guarantee a 4k every time

Please dont use flight of the damned Like told in the video use it at filler loops while survivors vault pallets or windows with the right timing it will result in a Hit. Also use it when u can spawn the Skeletons right on the survivors through walls at certain loops will sometimes grant a lucky Hit and of course on the right elevation they are undoodgable going up stairs for example.

On the flip side, i never use the ring and usually have spells off cd when its time anyways. But yeah, i always hear people saying Mage Hand to block pallet means they get back around while when I block a pallet its usually a hit. You have to wait to block it until its the last loop before they throw. That will usually then get you the hit.
