I would disagree withthe point that you need a carbon bike. In fact, most of the interantional mtb riders use alu! I would rather stress that one needs good breaks and gears more than a good carbon frame.

If you need a race ready bike then you can check the Syncline Series which is a carbon frame bike, alloy ones are more suitable for Trail Riding and off-road usage

Bro is that guy a trainer? Really? I don't mean to offend but to me in the vid he was making a lot of mistakes he looks like amature to me. He is bending forward and isn't pushing his butt back to give rear wheel more traction while going down the stairs if you push forward the tail will kick up and you will fall. Well if you push too much to rear your ass will stop the wheel not a bad thing when climbing down but a bad thing if you are jumping off a ramp. I made that mistake of pushing too much to the rear and rubbing my ass against the tyre while riding in avalahalli in Bangalore had a bad fall even tho the ramp was small the front got stuck in between rocks and i went flying forward.

The guy with me is not a trainer nor I said the same, he is an Athelete who has participated in UCI level races and has got into good rankings which other pro level Atheletes were not able to. He shared his practical experience so that others can prepare as well if they are interested to get into MTB racing.
