This is very true and possible. Coz groundnuts needs no fertilizer or spraying. The other crop is onion, its less involving and can make one rich in short time

Peanuts are very tasty But , in North America they are in the top 5 crops that are G.M.O crops on the planet. This crop should be highly scrutinized for the fact that some of these chemicals used to ward off the pests or insects that affect it negatively. What is more significant, is that it causes Cancer and other lifelong disrupters in attacking the Immune systems and women not able to carry nor birth children to term. I may not be totally correct around the Science of it and it may even be worse in terms of male or female consumptions and the other long term negative effects on generations on-going. Don't get me wrong, I come from a place where we have it abundantly but Natural Pests control method had been researched effectively and used. Most Chemicals used in Africa has bern imported by Companies who seek to make profits, and worse control people, places and things. Please Research the Chemicals that are used on this and other crops before you use it for Convenience sake ( like- manually control of crops and cost effectiveness) instead of healthy reasons, and for the love of it.
