Sometimes, when I pay attention to my own behavior I seem to lose all spontaneity, I create a feedback loop in my mind that makes me appear weak and doubtful to others. Other times, though, I am totally alive and awake, and my behavior is natural and powerful. Trusting and accepting oneself is so important...

Hi, it is I, a girl who has no idea why she watches these videos. IF YOU ARE A BETA MALE THIS IS PROBABLY WORTH READING TO THE END. AH FUCK IT. IT IS PROBABLY WORTH READING NO MATTER WHO YOU ARE. The Alpha male is a natural born person, as is the Beta. If you want to try to become a different person, that's your choice, and I understand the feeling. Maybe this is not the case with most girls, but I have a knack for very deeply understanding and relating to almost everyone. I am not sure what it is about me that makes people trust me so easily, but a girl who literally one person in school had a conversation that lasted longer than 10 seconds with just poured all of her unsaid thoughts on me, and now I am actually her only friend. What I am getting at is you don't need to change. (ACTUALY ADVICE AND MY POINT STARTS HERE): Let's call every person a kingdom. The buildings are all the nuanced things about someone's personality. The animals and people in the kingdom are the thoughts that pop up. Maybe it is not a big kingdom, but is still one. If nobody loves you now, somebody will someday. While, yes, putting a wall up in front of any side of your kingdom causes other kingdoms to try to connect their kingdom to yours through other sides, seeing in you what you want them to see, walls can also keep other kingdoms out. Maybe you don't know that another kingdom wants to join forces because you have built a wall too big on the part of your kingdom that they want you to show. If you build a big enough wall, no matter how many kingdoms are standing on the other side other side of that wall, wanting desperately to build a road in and form a deep alliance, you'd never notice. If I am the only kingdom trying to get in, then person's kingdom's walls come down almost immediately, but if there are kingdoms trying to enter from other directions, I am suddenly facing a wall that I cannot pass. Even if I like other aspects of someone's personality, I often enter their heart through parts of their personality that the person themself doesn't like, because when I think I like someone, I need to know a lot of things about them(but of course I don't ask people to spill all their secrets and emotions, just their personality). Too often, I find myself screaming and pounding on that wall for while, before just staying there, doing nothing. The person on the outside of that wall almost always ends up heartbroken, and you never know how many people's affection you are blind to. I wouldn't purposely ignore aspects of myself to get people to like me, if they don't like me and I like than, then hey don't like me. Even if it makes me cry, it's okay. I find that the warmest people will enter your heart through part of your personality you don't like. I get get people to let me into their hearts, and I let them in mine. Then as time moves on, some people start trying to attract more people, and they put up a wall, or they completely destroy or ignore he part of their personality I entered from. That causes us to loose our connection, as it is with most people who get a wall put uo in front of them. The people you leave outside the wall ends up heartbroken. So, please, if you ever choose to block offpart of your heart or personality, make sure you check on it every once in a while. Even if you have a mentality that letting people into your kingdom can lead to attacks from the inside, so you don't want to let people in, you are not wrong. But isn't love and trust going both ways when both kingdoms open their gates, giving each other the ability to comepletely wreck them and trusting them not to? The best thing about your kingdom is that it is yours. The people who are in your kingdom(remember, those are thoughts and feelings), are part of you. While you can choose whether or not the people in your kingdom decide to reproduce(this metaphor/simile is getting a little weird), but you don't have to let those thought-people become dictators. You should acknowledge and accept them, but a truly unified kingdom, in the end, functions better than a kingdom ruled in fear, hate, or sadness. This is my opinion, so you don't have to agree, but thanks for reading it. If you read this entire thing I am sending you a virtual hug. **hugs everyone who reads this entire thing**
@RSN22777 жыл бұрын
Random Weirdness I'd agree with your thoughts. However, I do agree with some things in this video as well. If you take chances and try to go beyond your limit, people will notice you. You need to start living your life the way you want to do it, but don't change who you are in the process. It never works out in the end if you change who you are.

@Ashbringer366 жыл бұрын
Random Weirdness I do appreciate both the words of advice and the hug, however I do have a few points I'd like to make See you are mixxing up changing and evolving, to stick with your kingdom metaphor (or I'll just use a castle to make it easier) You assume that video's like these ask one to demolish bits of the kingdom whereas in reality they are telling you to add furnishings, add insolation, fly your banner and add a flag blowing in the wind above. To give an example of myself, I am a writer and an artist at heart, I tell stories and I make people think and feel, my carreer path (my main one) is a web designer with novel writing and game design as somthing of a hobby that might turn into more in the future who knows. Regardless I know why I do these things, but I can improve upon my craft by learning the balance between knowing when my vision is more important, have confidence in my own skills to not be torn down by the slighest hint of negative critisiscm, to have the confidence to go out and go talk to the publishers etc etc. To improve is not to change, your castle should be as pristine as possible, it can still be yours but it has to be the best you've got

Confidence in women is very important too. If she isn't confident, how can she possibly hold a good job and support you? I had a woman flirt with me one time in a laundromat. According to science, beta male is actually the second in the hierarchy of the group, ranked higher than all the others except the alpha. Males in a chimpanzee group are divided in high, middle and low ranking. It's like in human society, but our status can increase or decrease depending on the inviroment. Trust me. I've read a lot of academic works about this. I'm not american, so in case of some grammar misteaks just let it go

Why cheating with nature and why turning Beta to fake alpha Male? How it is possible to ignore that everyone has got a wonderful function with who they are! Beta Male can attract a lot of woman who is looking for an nice guy focused on emotions and able to listen to them. This is the great power of Beta Female and Male! As an Alpha Male, I recognize that we are not perfect! Even if we've got a lot self confident and we know how to concrete plans, we can be really rude when it's concerning emotions by our rational functions on communicating most of the time by logic or symbolic-archetypes... Don't turn yourself to pretend or to be someone else! But use who are to find somebody compatible with your nature and your values! Be yourself if you wanna love yourself and be loved for who you are!!! Cheating makes us sad... Happiness is when we get real and when we composed with what nature give us!

watched this simply to check which one i was. never actually considered anything like this. glad to know im a total alpha even tho im skinny and around average height. then after watching this i can immediately recognize who among my friends are betas - not many. alphas dont surround themselves with betas. they surround themselves with other alphas. we want to be challenged. we want to be wrong sometimes as to improve ourselves. self doubt just doesnt exist. example: last night i was at a party, met a lovely girl. we spoke for a long time and after a while i straight up told her i liked her. we went on a date today and it didnt go all that great. im happy about everything that happened because whether or not it went great is of no consequence. i guess you can sum up any alpha HUMAN (men and women) in one simple phrase: its better to try and fail that not try at all.

Based on ths video I am getting being a male on either spectrum is faulty. The main goal is to be an alpha and women have this super power to where they can see who you are. Women dont really have to do a thing in order to get a man because the alpha will get them. What I took away from this discouraging video is that being a 27 year old virgin really warrants suicide for my seeds of fear due to rejection. And that if I was born this alpha or a woman in fact I would have the golden ticket to life. Well ths is my last day on this rock. No more conflicting information about working on self, do this do that, following a guide to have a female consider me a good catch. Best of luck to anyone who follows this, hope your life turns better than mine was. -Alex

Alex Armando Come on man, don't do that. Most of my life was absolute complete shit and I was certainly no "alpha." If you want it and work for it slowly, it'll be much richer and better than those who seem to get it early on. And you'd be surprised- Many of those don't do so well later in life. In the animal kingdom, "alphas" are killed first.

This video is a complete joke. You say alpha male stands up for himself (popcorn example) Every sane person on earth knows that standing up for yourself is a must. What people do not know, however, is HOW to stand up for yourself. Instead of making a completely useless video and giving guidelines that are clear to everyone, you should make a video which actually explains HOW to act and WHAT to say in these conflict situations. But it is kinda clear you have no idea yourself. You just provide cliche bullet points of general ideas without explaining how to actually achieve those ideas. A 6 year old kid can google some general ideas ant make presentation like yours in a video. Please, try harder to provide content that is actually useful to people. :)

Just an add on that wasn't mentioned in the video. Women don't like loud, talkative men that never shut up. They prefer guys that are quiet, dark and brooding that only speak when something needs to be said. This is because women like men with an air of mystery about them. They don't want to know everything about you at once, they like peeling back the layers to slowly discover things about you on their own.

If you feel or an inhibition holding you back from doing something you want to do, just ask yourself whether the worse possible outcome would be fatal. The answer is usually no, so you should go ahead and do it. Going up to a girl? If she tells you no, you will survive. You should be USED to rejection. It gets easier with practice, and then it doesn't happen so often.

Lunacy Loveborne Do you find any merit in what he's saying? I don't like the dichotomous, alpha-beta framework in which this issue is discussed in the video,but I do believe that there is and has been a successful push by feminist groups to pustify white boys/ men due to their absurd beliefs that masculinity is inherently toxic and at the root of all evil in the world. Nonetheless, it's not what most women want, they don't want an emasculated men (physically or psychologically)., Even the feminists, for the few who aren't lesbians anyway, prefer a manly man.
@foxglovearts11297 жыл бұрын
I see no importance to this Alpha-Beta society, it seems a bit like self-loathing and petty. I don't see masculinity as the "route of all evil" either. Its idiotic on both ends. I guess its because of my lack of understanding for both parties. But overall Masculinity isn't evil but it isn't necessary either, masculinity isn't toxic in itself but its how people display it and force it over other men or boys, telling them human emotions are bad and girly but stern faced people and iron mans "Alpha-ness" should be your only idols. On the other hand, feminism isn't on my best terms with how they portray Caucasian creatures that happen to be male. I honestly don't want to get in to such a touchy subject but all ill say is I don't agree with it either. Sorry if I went on a tangent or strayed from your question, I just don't get to talk about this a lot.

Eli E These videos are very well done and entertaining. My only question about the Alpha/beta discussion is ... who comes up with the theories and details of alpha and beta characteristics?If it’s alpha males who came up with the rules does it really fit in with their busy ‘get things done’ kind of lifestyle?Are alpha males social theorists or aren’t they more likely to be movers and shakers, leaders, titans of industry etc?Most people would say the latter traits apply to typical alphas.Or are these people who determine alpha or beta qualities actually beta males?They might be, but it would go against the argument of betas being lazy, passive men who would prefer to complain instead of accomplishing things.Personally if I had to choose, I would say that this alpha/beta theory is created by beta males, or higher functioning beta males because they tend to be more thoughtful, insightful and introspective than the hustle and bustle alpha.Making hard and fast distinctions between men and their personality traits and then categorizing them according to letters of the Greek alphabet ignores the nuances of human behaviour and personality that make people individual and unique. So if a man gets upset because he believes that too many characteristics of a beta male apply to him, he should step back and think that maybe, just maybe, these ‘rules’ were created by other men who fit the beta stereotype and are a way of throwing mud at other versions of themselves who they’d rather demean than actually help.Just a thought, but I would welcome feedback: even trolls are welcome :-D

The thing that sets the Alpha Male apart from the rest is actually... competence. NOT "confidence". Real confidence is a merely a side effect of success: it's neither a personality trait nor a quality in and of itself - but a condition derived from having proven, over and over, that the instrumental traits you carry are more than fit for the task at hand, i.e. good-looking = good genes = sexually attractive. And having had an vast abundance of willing partners with A-grade aesthetics from the age of 16 to 20, one is likely to KNOW FOR SURE that he is attractive, hence "confidence" - you know what's in demand and you know dam well that you HAVE IT. Now let's juxtapose this with what people think "confidence" is: think back to upcoming heavyweight "prospect" Kubrat Pulev and his absolute fiasco against Wladimir Klitschko back in November 2014: he went in with chest-puff arrogance, talked no end of shit, tried to get personally offensive with the champion... and ultimately got exposed for the physically weak, overweight, slow, technically inferior, completely void of talent NOTHING that he really is - and he's still that same zero today - although just as arrogant for the press and public. In many ways, it's like an aesthetically inferior man trying to put on an act of feigned dominance in order to confuse women into thinking that his high standards and expectations come from him being "high value" - when in reality, what is of high genetic value is pretty much clear to the naked eye, and it's ALL ABOUT LOOKS: aesthetic + athletic = alpha by definition, and from that point on you're free to act any way you want: your genetic value will STILL be your genetic value, no matter if you choose to be civil or overtly disdainful of others and painfully narcissistic. Know what I mean? The thoughts and schemes that go on inside the mind are not "you", and that false notion, the "personality", is certainly not you. The carbon-based molecular body is YOU, and it's outer appearance is the Alpha and Omega of who you are to the rest of the world - and how you will ultimately be received. So, as a man, WHATEVER you're doing to become "more attractive to women" is in fact completely useless. The TWO things you can do that WILL have an effect are: 1. plastic surgery that will hopefully result in perfect facial characteristics; 2. hormonal supplementation with anabolic steroids that will make you not only muscular, but unnaturally lean as well. And it costs BIG MONEY because it DOES WORK. But it works because it affects the OBJECTIVE perception of OBJECTIVE MATTER by OBJECTIVELY improving its ACTUAL QUANTIFIABLE DIMENSIONS and even at that: it's a mere mirage of reality, although one that is designer-sculpted, and doesn't fall into line with the evolutionary imperative of "passing on the best genes". However, inasmuch as we, as a civilized species, can choose to have sex for fun while curtailing unwanted and unnecessary childbirth, it IS VERY MUCH the thing to do. Just keep it a secret what you've done - lest you want your desired partner to murder you in your sleep.

Alpha's are rarer than people think. The vast majority of Alpha's are indeed aggressive betas. That's why so many fall into thst trap. The easiest way to spot a fake alpha from a real one is how much you find them annoying. My advice by the way to any young person who identifies as beta is to say, you are beta because that's were you have been placed by your peers. The first step to shedding your beta existence is to dump all your friends who ARE responsible for it. No matter what you do your friends will never accept you any other way. You need to adopt MGTOW before you can develop alpha traits. Go forth and form new social circles with people who do not harbour the same prejudices as the social group you grew up with do.

Well the problem with comments in this section is that its mostly Beta Males that watch this video. The nice guys probably wont write a comment because they think their opinions dont matter. Which leaves the aggresive Beta Males writing most of the comments. I however find this fascinating because at various times in my life I have been the Alpha yet at other times I have been the Beta. I call them different chapters in my life. However, I had never equated it to being an Alpha or Beta male. I was much happier being a Alpha male. Then I got hiv, that kinda made me fall into a dark dark place. So my question would be are there things that could happen that would throw any Alpha down to the Betas and would never allow him to be an Alpha again?

Stop worrying about being the Alpha, Beta, or whatever the fuck. If you go along with this mentality you'll constantly be judging yourself against labels and the expectations they carry. They exist - sure - but fuck the labels. Focus on developing yourself, _for_ yourself, and the rest comes naturally. If you want confidence, work for it; *INVEST in yourself.* That's all there is to it. The more you push your own limits and discipline yourself (Exercise, read philosophy, Journal...), the more self-trust you develop in your own abilities, which equates to confidence. Exercise, meditation, and cold showers are the best for strengthening your self-discipline. Fuck cold showers - but that's the point; victory over yourself is power. After three years of having cold showers I still don't look forward to them, or working-out, but the command I have over myself seeps into all other areas of my life; my body language, communication, decision-making, and so on. Grab a pen and write; really consider your goals and make a plan. All that matters is your ability to lead yourself, which is only harnessed through self-reflection (which is why I recommend philosophy) and owning the discipline and self-control to follow your own plan. Every personal achievement will make you stronger and more confident in yourself. Men need purpose, which we primarily get from building things. Make it your purpose to build your own kingdom, every day, *for yourself.* The rest will follow in time. - If your focus is girls, change that focus. Women want a man who owns himself. This is what worked for me. Good vid nonetheless.

Then you are a beta. There is no omega or anything (an omega basically is a beta who cannot accept his position as a beta but who can't confront alphas either thus avoids getting tangled with them). There is only alpha and beta, it is just that the alpha-to-beta is a continuum and is defined by social relations. I.e. if you put a 100 typical betas on an island, these will re-order and 10-15 of them will stand out as alphas. If you put a 100 top-alpha-dogs on an island the bottom 80 of them will start showing typical beta behaviour (... and those who refuse, will die fast and painfully, LOL!).

@Ewan Jones Shit dad? Some dads just prefer their sons to grow up as respectful young men, who don't have the idea that either gender is superior to the other. They don't want their children to believe in that "aLpHa" shit. My dad taught me that there are no alphas in life, and even if there was, you didn't have to have certain traits to be considered an alpha, you find it in yourself to be an alpha. You don't lead anyone because everyone else leads their own lives.
