A lovely introduction to Quakers and the weekly meeting. I became an attender in December 2024 and I've been back every week since. It was strange and nerveracking on the first week but I have quickly become part of the community which feels like a 'family' to me. We really are becoming Friends. I still remember one thing someone said in one of the videos I watched while I was researching what The Religious Society of Friends was about. "It felt like coming home" ❤

Great advice and an enjoyable video. Thought you might like to know how we finish our meetings for worship at Ifield Meeting House in Crawley, West Sussex. At the end of the hour our Clerk both welcomes everyone and thanks them for coming, then a tradition in our meeting house they ask if anyone has any Joys or Concerns that they wish to share. We are the oldest remaining purpose built meeting house in the country, as far as we know it was the third, and in September next year will have been continuously in use for 350 years. We always welcome any visitors whether they be Quaker or not.
