I had a 3100 for almost 10 years. Bought a 750 right before july 4th. Shot 2 nascar races with it and it’s definitely a huge difference

Started with a D3300 & Tamron 18-200. Upgraded to a Tamron 17.50 f2.8 and Sigma 70-200 f2.8 after a while, since the 18-200 didn't perform well. Quickly after, I started to outgrow the D3300 but stuck with it until this summer, when I traded it for a Nikon D7100, after getting to use a friend of mines. I haven't shot much motorsport with it yet, as the season ended but I'm so blown away by the performance and build quality of it, compared to the D3300. I'm really looking forward to get use it in the 2020 season!

I loved my D7100! I actually only just sold it a few months ago. My first camera was a D3100, great little camera but yeah you can outgrow it fast if you’re an enthusiast. 70-200 2.8 is super solid choice. You can get a 1.4x tele converter and it will give you a bit extra reach too! Good luck out there!
@PentaYOOO5 жыл бұрын
Aaron Andino Oh, good call on the tele converter! That's definitely something I will look in to. The 70-200 f2.8 really is a great piece of gear but a bitch to carry, especially around Spa for the 24h race. Sometimes I hate myself for getting such a heavy lens but in the end it's all worth it haha

Is a canon T8i bundle a good camera to start out with. I would use it for motorsports photography/videography. Capturing my hunting, fishing and vacation Trips. And I would use it up close to photograph my dirt bikes and people. If not a T8i I would save up for a 90D. Please let me know what you think.
@AAndinoPhoto3 жыл бұрын
Yes that would be a great option! If you wanted to be a bit more future proof, I would also consider the Nikon Z50 for a little more. It’s a mirrorless vs DSLR, but either are great options.
@jakescott74913 жыл бұрын
@@AAndinoPhoto thanks. I went and looked at the T8I and the 90D today and loved the 90D but it’s more money. Would you recommend to get the T8I or save up a little more money and get the 90D. I have 2 lenses that will work with canon from a few older cameras, so I’m going to stay with canon for now. Thanks

good video dude! I have the a6400 with a 28-157mm with fixed f4 full frame equivalent, going to get into dirkbike photography. do you have any advice? have a good day :)
@AAndinoPhoto3 жыл бұрын
Thanks! That will definitely work great to get you started. You may want a little more reach on the lens, but nothing really stopping you as long as you can get close enough.
@Joshua-cb3hv4 жыл бұрын
You can put a cropped mode on full frame???
@AAndinoPhoto4 жыл бұрын
Yes, you can put a crop lens on a full frame. Just need to set the camera to crop mode. So it’s only using the part of the sensor that fits the lens.

I have a nikon D5300 I've had for a few years just learning about the craft. I shoot predominantly sprint cars but dirt track in general with some football/baseball photographyon theside. I really want to upgrade to a full frame camera and start getting some better lenses. I've been looking at the d780 and d850 what would you suggest
@AAndinoPhoto3 жыл бұрын
Full frame is nice for the better light gathering, but crop sensors are nice for the extra reach. Those are two great cameras, I think if I had to pick one, I’d say the D780. For me, the huge resolution on the 45MP isn’t necessary. The continuous shutter is the same on both, but you have a newer processor and better battery life. Not to mention storage will be cheaper with SD vs XQD/CFEXPRESS and it’s a bit lighter.
@breylankemp75963 жыл бұрын
@@AAndinoPhoto thank you so much! Yes that's the reason I'm looking into a full frame dirt tracks get super dark at night and I feel like that extra light gathering capability will be really helpful! Thanks for the response! Love your channel
@AAndinoPhoto3 жыл бұрын
Most definitely! Lots of resolution is nice, but when you pack more pixels into the same sensor size, there is less light getting in each pixel. Full frame will definitely help with this a bit.

about the aperture thing: i have a sony a57 with the dying a mount. I have lenses going up all the way to 300mm, but recently i wanted to look into some telephoto lenses. Well there is the tamron and sigma lenses that are somewhat affordable, but sigma never released the one with the a mount so i would go with the tamron 150-600 f5-6.3 even though it didnt get the best reviews compared to the sigma. I could get it second hand for about 600bux. I was browsing the web and found a guy selling a sigma 50 to 500mm f1.4-6.3 for 340 bux and/or a tamron 200-400mm f5.6 for just 130 bucks... im tempted to get the cheap tamron but im kinda sceptical about it because of the fixed aperture... any suggestions? thing is, there are next to no A mount tele lenses out there, so it would be a steal, but idk if it makes sense thx for the help

Amazing video, I was expecting this channel to be quite big when I first saw it, you're underrated for sure. Also, would you recommend Nikon z6 or a7m3? I'm planning to visit Japan next year and I'm looking for a mirrorless camera that's able to take daily photos and videos but also motorsport pictures.
@AAndinoPhoto4 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the kind words. Honestly I think I may recommend the Sony. I really like my Z6, but it is still a first iteration of the platform and I think the Sony is more refined. They also have a really nice selection of lenses already too. Nikon is still growing theirs. I’d love to go to Japan!
@l3k214 жыл бұрын
@@AAndinoPhoto Thanks a lot! Also, for lenses, would a sigma 24-70mm and 70-200mm be enough?
@l3k214 жыл бұрын
update: A friend of mine that used sony a7r3 told me to get the sony g 70-200, rather than sigma's with an adapter
@AAndinoPhoto4 жыл бұрын
That’s a great place to start. For Motorsports, you’ll wanna at least get a 1.4 teleconverter for getting a bit more reach and then eventually aim for something in the 500mm range telephoto.

Aaron, thank you for this great video. I am looking to start doing motorsports photography. I am trying to get the camera capable of recording 4k video too. What do you recommend between DSLR or mirror-less and why? Thank you in advance for your time.
@AAndinoPhoto5 жыл бұрын
I still recommend DSLR for the live view finder. If you want to shoot 4K video it will be tough to find something that isn’t mirrorless. I would recommend maybe looking at the options from Sony. I honestly have enjoyed my Z6 though, and I’ve done quite a bit of work with it for motorsports, I just still prefer my DSLR for sports due to the viewfinder. Edit: Just remembered! The Nikon D500 would be a great option! It’s a crop sensor that has great focusing system and shoots 4K UHD as well. Solid camera for sports. That may be your best option unless you want to go mirrorless then I’d recommend the Z6.

@@AAndinoPhoto Great! Have you seen the Canon 90D? Any thoughts?
@AAndinoPhoto5 жыл бұрын
@@mentgeneral For a Canon shooter, a real solid option. Lots of megapixels, but not too much. Nice thing on the D90 is you don't get a video crop for 4K at 30p. You still do get a 1.5x one on the D500. I think that would also be a great choice!

wich one is better the Nikon d750 or the d7500
@AAndinoPhoto5 жыл бұрын
Hey Fahad, it really depends on what you want to use it for. I think for Motorsport the D7500 may be a bit of an advantage because the crop sensor will give you a bit more “reach” with the crop factor. It also has a higher continuous release of 8fps vs 6.5. D750 is a bit outdated at this point. I’d say the D7500
@fahood3505 жыл бұрын
