Lovely. Question for you Tom on flues in voids if I poke a 4m flue extension through a ceiling void would you need hatches ect since it’s a continue length. I think yes would be good to aid other engineers but maybe legally no as no joints. Any points of view appreciated

You would not need hatches if there are no joints but a flue over 1.8m with no clips or brackets is an unsecured flue and also engineers visiting later wouldn’t know that the flue is one piece or it has clips so would AR the flue anyway so I guess you should have access to the flue for inspection whatever or engineers would still AR the flue.

Ive always cut pipe, stick it next to wall, where i need bend. I put my finger at point that i want bend to start. Then offer up to my knee and bend, offer back up to where I need bend and check, and adjus if needed more angle on bend. I always bend pipe backover a touch so spring slides out easy, in a twisting pull. Otherwise, spring sticks. I use spring for speed. Any offset bends I use bender mc.

I was showing the process and why you would need to heat it up most of the time there is no need to heat up the pipe remember I make videos for trainees who might not know how to do it.

@@ElTelBaby if I was soldering you could have a point also if I didn’t have a shit blow lamp you could also have a point and I was also showing were to start and finish when heating the pipe so using the tip of the inner cone wouldn’t have shown that but thanks for pointing it out anyway
